Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Hartford

Maybe I'm just going on the wrong days? We go to this DQ once, maybe twice a year. Something is wrong literally every...single...time. Normally, it's okay, people make mistakes. The frequency of them is why we don't go there very often. Today, waited in line for 15 minutes. It was 11:30, so ya, lunch time. That's okay. My order was read back to me. Perfect. Receipt said exactly what I ordered. Perfect. Got back to work. Wrong food (mine was finally right, the other order was wrong) to the point where the recipient wouldn't eat it. Tried calling for 20 minutes to avoid the line. No answer, they tried 6 times. Drove there and went in. Shoes sticking to the floor dirty in there, but got the right burger. Stopped here on my way back from a vacation in the dells and it was awful. The bathroom was disgusting and not kept up to date so much so that my nephew was afraid to use it. When we finally did get service the food was ok. But the ice cream was terrible. It tastes old and freezer burned. I asked for vanilla with cherry dip and I got vanilla with cherry syrup for shakes. I was willing to forgive them for that but then had to stand at the counter for 20 minutes while being ignored by the staff. The manager was already taking a complaint on the phone so he couldn't help me but the other staff had disappeared. By the time I got help my niece and nephew had already finished...

We really prefer DQ over Culver's and McD's; however, the service, accuracy and attitude of the workers at the Hartford location is really disappointing. Tonight our order was wrong on both burgers and milk shakes were totally chocolate "milk". My husband pointed this out and then watched through the drive-thru window the workers yell & complain to each other as they argued who would remake them. In addition, our order of onion rings had 4 rings. What the heck?!?! We once were young and had "starter" jobs but we also had pride in ourselves...
