I was so excited to finally see a Noodles & Company come to Hartford. I'm a big fan of Noodles & Company, so I would drive into West Bend after work to get my fill. I waited a while to try the Hartford store because it was new...Walking in, one customer ahead of me three others standing off to the left side. I had ordered the pot stickers . I asked if they have Pasta Fresca on the menu, that's my go-to meal. (I didn't see it listed separately) the cashier was very friendly, she didn't know the answer.. I'm assuming it was the manager that said,"yes with the shrimp bowl" I asked if I could please have that without the shrimp, ordered the large bowl with extra red onion. I waited a half an hour. While waiting there I noticed orders piling up in a window. I'm assuming that these were pickupsh the longer wait ? I checked them out to see if any of them were mine, because of the length of time I was waiting. They finally called my name. I proceeded to head home. I live 3 minutes from Noodles & company. Upon arriving I noticed that they charged me for the shrimp and the shrimp was in my meal..Not Fully Cooked... Yuck!! ( Me, 50 years in food service) I orders the large and it barely covered the bottom of the bowl. l had asked for extra onion, I had two little rings. When do they stop frying the potstickers and just steam them? West Bends are browned. These were mushy. THE sauce did not taste like the sauce in West bend, it seemed to be very salty. MY food was barley warm and had a few other odd noodles mixed into my bowl. Sorry to say, I did not enjoy this experience, it's back to West Bend Noodles & Company after work for my fix. In West Bend I would just ask for the Pasta Fresca they never asked me if I wanted the shrimp and it never showed up in my order. maybe it's because they know me...
Read moreEDITED. See end of review……Hooray! I finally thought there was somewhere new in Hartford for a meal. I order through the app at 6:15pm and it said it would be ready at 6:30pm. I arrived at 6:30pm expecting to grab and go. However, no food was ready to be picked up, so I asked about how long and was told it would be an additional 40 minutes for my order. I was told by an another customer that the app always lies and the times are not accurate. I spoke with a manager who refused to give me a contact number for corporate or higher up than her. I was told that they could not cancel and refund, but I could call later to speak to a manager to cancel and get refunded, so I was stuck waiting the additional time. The app stated that my order was completed and ready to be picked up before I was even informed of the additional wait time. Other patrons stated they had been waiting over an hour for their order. The the staff was great, very friendly and working hard. However, the management needs training on customer service. They never once apologized to anyone for the inconvenience and were just were yelling to check your food before you leave to make sure it is right. The management just gave attitude, as if we were inconveniencing them to get our food that we had already paid for, but were told that they were unable to cancel or refund. This was a very poor experience and has me and many of the others who were sitting there waiting, thinking twice about going back.

Read moreI went here yesterday. I eat at Noodles regularly and this was my first time checking out the one in Hartford. I gave the girl my order and used my $2 coupon on my app (with my points). At the end she gave me my total and it was $4 more than it should have been. I told her I didn't want meat and asked if she accidentally added it. After what felt like an eternity of searching on the screen, she said she did add it on. Then struggled even longer to take the meat fee off. Then gave me the wrong total once again and redeemed my $2 in points but didn't take the $2 off. I waited some more. It eventually got to the point where I asked "would it be easier if I ordered on the app?" She said yes. Super sad. Awhile later I got my food. I checked my app and $4 worth of my Noodles rewards points were redeemed without me using. The girl clearly had no idea what she was doing and redeemed my points even though I ended up placing my order through the app. I tried to call today and was placed on hold for 4 minutes before hanging up. I could hear customers in the background talking like she put the phone on the counter and walked away....
