Out from California with the wife, just driving through New England's gorgeous countryside. We were on our way from Rhode Island, heading through Connecticut and needed a place to eat. Happy little wrong turns, and we found this white sign on the corner saying, "coffee, lunch, this way", so we turned and found Petrolhead Cafe. Great stop! First timer here. The atmosphere was awesome. Sat at the bar and watched motoGP. I ordered the brisket egg rolls and they FAR exceeded my expectations. Crispy crunch, sweet, salty, umami. It hit every taste bud on my tongue. My husband got the brisket grilled cheese and it was out of this world good. Perfectly balanced. We have had the best experience with Petrolhead Cafe and regulary eat here every week. They make the best coffee drinks and their food is excellent. I highly recommend the brisket egg roles, crispy chicken sandwich, creamy chicken soup, and loaded tots. Great menu, with lots of options for small bites or entrees.
