MofonGo Restaurant — Restaurant in Hartford

I normally go the the Windsor location but service they keep messing up I took my self to the Hartford location because I didn’t want to give up on a hidden gem just yet. I was wrong for even making an attempt. I placed a phone order and order two steak bowls one with yellow rice and the other with white rice. I was advised that they ran out of yellow rice for the night and so I ordered another white race ball and I was advised it will be 20 minutes. Wait arrive shortly after 20 minutes and waited 10 minutes in line to pay and still had to wait an extra 10 minutes For my food, and I noticed that there was yellow rice, so when my food was ready, I advised the girl that she told me that there was no yellow rice, and she told me at the time of my order there was no yellow rice for 40 minutes later after waiting there was yellow rice so I asked her since that’s what I originally ordered and he didn’t give me the option. Can’t he switch my food out for yellow rice she told me no And that I need to pay for extra rice, but why should I have to pay for something that I ordered originally and I was told that that was not offered and instead of hers just saying that the rice will be a moment to finish cooking. They automatically gave me what they had. The girl then proceeded to catch an attitude and was very unpleasant, never in my life. I felt so disrespected and so disgusted with the restaurant chain especially since I continue to keep supporting with all the best service that they have been giving I will rate the food an 8 but the service of the restaurant I will write that a 2 for poor quality and not caring for...

This was my first time at Parkville Mofongo, had been to New Britain once and enjoyed it. Had a terrible experience at Parkville. We sat at the bar and ordered on-line for delivery and were with friends. Mofongo called me, let me know they were out of Sorullitos, I told them just to substitute whatever they felt appropriate. Everyone else got their food but we didn't. My wife went down to pick it up and I'm not sure exactly what happened, they were out of several things and only gave her our appetizers, no main dish and no explanation or refund. Apparently they were out of Alcapurria Bites as well, gave us three Papa Rellenos Bites which were grossly over cooked and greasy and an empanada, which was delicious. That was it for our $43 tab. I went down and the manager only said the on line ordering doesn't work right. They were also out of Salsa, she made up our main dish, never apologized or offered something. Still paid full price even though we didn't get what we ordered. I even included a tip because we were expecting delivery. Generally would communicate to the business management rather than post online, and went to they web site, they had a big thing there about feedback: "Our corporate team always wants to hear your feedback about your visit." However, there is no link or information about how to get in touch with their "corporate team". Certainly the person in charge at Parkville when I went there was not helpful. Came here twice. Both times were not a good experience at all... I stood in line and placed my order before, like 6 ppl. And they all got theirs before me. Despite the fact that the girl who made the order moved like a slug. Like she had no care in the world. When I asked where my order was, it was just sitting there on the countertop. The girl moved on to another project in which the whole time that I'm standing there, my name was never called. I already was having such a bad day from earlier when I placed a door dash order from here to be delivered to my job. The driver completed the order and stole my food. The girl who took the order was pretty cool and gave me a little discount when I'd told her what happened. Overall, it's poor customer service. And they don't give you your money's worth. $15 I'd alot to pay for a small kiddie bowl with barely no rice in it. I prefer the one in New Britain, CT. They're friendly, prompt, and give you your money's worth. The one in Windsor sucks too! I'll spend my gas traveling to that...
