Pho King Spot is located in Parkville Market in Hartford. I think the name is a hilarious wordplay! I was craving noodles and saw that they had pho and pad Thai; I opted for the chicken pad Thai and it did not disappoint. I saw the woman whipping up my meal in the wok so it was nice, hot and fresh. This is sauteed noodles with plenty of chicken, peanuts, bean sprouts, and lime; the flavor was good. I also ordered the banh mi sandwich which came with sliced deli meat, sliced carrots, and various of ingredients; okay, the sliced deli meat didn't seem normal for a banh mi, but the flavor was actually pretty good. In the past, I usually get roasted pork in it. I read reviews that some people didn't like it. Now I am no means a banh mi connoisseur/expert, but I enjoyed it. The service was great, the woman was friendly; the food took about 10 minutes. I was able to snag a picnic table and enjoyed my meal with my family and friends. My friend had their pho and she said the broth was a little too salty. Overall, a decent place; I'd have to try the pho myself next time and come back with an update.

Well what a Treat! After perusing so many restaurants at Parkville market, I finally parked my feet in front of Pho King Spot. What a great decision, and a truly genuine Vietnamese food experience. I ordered the crispy spring rolls to start. Then, decided on the oxtail soup as a main course, and was absolutely delighted. The spring rolls were light and flaky, and had the all-important fish sauce for dipping. The oxtail soup was an amazing blend of noodles, the thick rich broth and a beastly hunk of oxtail. The meat had all the signatures of the best Vietnamese meat stew. Absolutely succulent! Once you've gone around the culinary wheel at Parkville market a few times , and see the Vietnamese cubbyhole, you will know you've landed at one of the best establishments in Hartford. Walk on over to King Pho Spot.....and enjoy!

Please come try this place!! It's a cute family owned business and you can tell all of the food is made with love. I've tried the beef drunken noodle, Thai tea, beef pho, and taro boba and I would recommend it all! The service is quick and amazing and i would eat here everyday if I was closer. They have only been open for about 3 months but they sure know how to run a business. I recommend Pho King to anyone looking for new spots and anyone who reads this should as well!

Pho King Spot is a family owned and serviced Thi food restaurant. Dine -in or take out. Recipes handed down over generations. They make at home for their family the exact meals they bring to you. All herbs are freshly ground. Nothing is ever store made. The ribs, which are my favorite, are made with a hand ground rub that is a must to try. The Pho is also made to order and packed so it can be consumed hot. Bubble tea is available in many different flavors. Parkview is a new concept of many different restaurants in one gigantic area. Hang out, enjoy music, food and friends while you enjoy a home cooked meal from the...
