Panera Bread — Restaurant in Hartford

I have never ordered from this location before, so after placing my order online, I GPS how to get there. I was clueless as to where the location was because it brought me to Saint Francis Hospital. After asking around I was informed that I had to go inside the hospital because Panera was in there. Finally after parking and walking all the way down the road I found it! ( not knowing I could had parked closer 🙄 ) Once I got there, I picked up my online order and I wanted some bakery goodies while I was there. This amazing woman named Christine was helping me out and giving me suggestions as to what tastes amazing as everything there looks great. Now if you want to talk about next level service, after getting so excited for these goodies I was bringing home, I realized I did not have my card or phone to pay with. I didn’t want to walk another 10 minutes down the road and then 10 minutes back there to get these goodies so I just told her forget it I won’t bother getting them . Christine graciously offered to take care of it for me and I was so aesthetic. No one‘s ever done something like that for me. I myself am a manager at a restaurant and I’m always giving things away free items to guests who are celebrating special occasions. I guess today was my day to get something in return for free 🥰 Christine I just want you to know I am so grateful for your service and the way that you were with me today!!!! Thank you!!!! FREE DAY CARE! BRING YOUR KIDS AND GRAB A TABLE AND LEAVE THEM THERE! The panera bread at Saint Francis hospital is a literal joke. They are always out of chips, bread, and apples. Their soda machine is always 'out of order'. when an adult doesn't show up at night, they have to close the entire panera bread because the kids who work there can't work legally without an adult. So basically the doctors and nurses are starving here, I'm paying for a sip club membership that I can rarely ever redeem. Last week I got ham instead of turkey in my sandwich. Can you believe that?? The app goes down every night and no one can place an order even when they ARE open. The items that are listed as out of stock, they sometimes have but never update their system. work here and every am I unfortunately need to run into the SAME staff there TANYA that is not so personable and I am so confused as to WHY they would put someone so BLAND (blank faced) for the FRONT FACE of their store. Not the first thing I want to see when grabbing my coffee and day started!!! Also takes her time stacking pastries when there are folks/employees there waiting in line!!!!!
