Sisson Sports & Pizza — Restaurant in Hartford

I recently had the pleasure of ordering from Sisson Pizza, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience! Not only did the food arrive quickly, but it was also fresh and piping hot, hitting the spot just right. The pizza was a masterpiece, with plenty of perfectly thick pepperonis adorning the top, making each bite a flavor-packed delight. And let's talk about the cheeseburger wrap – it was almost too beautiful to eat! I requested bacon and BBQ sauce, and boy, did they deliver. The bacon was freshly cut and thick, and the BBQ sauce was a sweet, tasted as close to a house-made masterpiece unlike any I've tasted before.

What truly impressed me was the dedication and care put into the food, even on a late Easter Sunday night. It's evident that whoever worked that evening poured love into every dish, from preparation to delivery. The kitchen followed my order to a tee, and the delivery person was not only prompt but also incredibly kind.

Thank you, Sisson Pizza, for exceeding my expectations and providing such high-quality food and service. You've definitely earned a spot as my new favorite place, and I look forward to being a loyal customer for years to come. Keep up the fantastic work!

PS... I planned on adding pics but could not resist eating it as soon as we saw how good it looked... Next time we will try not to be so impatient. We ordered a med pepperoni pizza, steak and cheese grinder and a hamburger wrap with cheese, lettuce, bacon, bbq sauce and mayo(came with fries and crinkle cut pickles... The more fancy ones that don't come sour out of the jar...

I ordered a pasta dinner through Uber eats from LUNA PIZZA AND PASTA, come to find out it was Sisson posing as Luna through false advertising. Not only that, they advertised “free delivery” then charged me $4 for delivery. They also advertised my spaghetti dinner comes with a salad, and cheese bread, it did not. It also took almost 90 minutes to arrive. After contacting Uber eats I was told I needed to deal directly with the store because they opted out of using Uber eats drivers and there was nothing they could do for me. I contacted Sisson and was placed on “hold” for about 20 minutes before someone came back to the phone. I explained my situation and the gentleman told me to contact Uber, it’s their problem. Once I told him they told me to contact the store, he pretty much told me to go screw myself and hung up. So a $12 bowl of spaghetti wound up costing me close to $30. THE FOOD WAS ALSO TERRIBLE This establishment is awful, they lie, pose as well established, far better restaurants, use false advertising, and if you search them online you find photos of rats in...

I ordered through the Slice app for delivery. Slice app would not let you change any ingredients whatsoever on grinders other than type of cheese. Plus side, it came super quick.

I ordered two grinders, a steak and cheese and a pastrami. The grinders tasted good, but were alot smaller than I was expecting. Very skimpy on both meat and veggies.

I ordered a medium Philly cheese steak pizza, I wasn't impressed, it was very small and it baffles me why they would put tomato based sauce on it instead of a white sauce, also was very light on the toppings, both meat and veggies.

Ordered 2x Mango Cheesecake slices, was frozen and didn't taste like mango, just a small slice of standard cheesecake.

With 15% tip, $5 slice service fee, $0.95 "local" fee, and the above items, the total came to $70.

So, TL:DR, super fast delivery but the food is way too small for the price, very skimpy on ingredients of all kinds, wasn't everything I was expecting or hoped it would be. I would have rather ordered Domino's, and I don't like Domino's, but they weren't open...
