City Pizza — Restaurant in Hartford

been a reoccurring customer for 7 years and loved the fact it was a local pizza place with relatively good pizza. Disappointed today because the last time we ordered pizza it was burnt and flat and since we know the pizza here is usually not like this we called to tell them about this as a tip while placing our next order. For some reason they thought we wanted a free pizza and refused to make it. Then when I went to call back on my complaint they insinuated I was trying to "play" them and hung up on me. I am absolutely disgusted with the experience I just had with city pizza. I’m totally shock because I order from there all the time with no problems. Just now I order a half pepperoni half cheese waited over an hour to receive my food. Not only was my food cold and late but it was not what I ordered; they sent a full pepperoni pizza. When I called to tell them about their mistake the manager on shift Ahmed(if that’s really his name) told me “oh well pick them off cause we not coming back to get it”. I personally don't understand when others have large problems with this place. City Pizza to me is THE PLACE to go for good pizza. They could use just a bit more flavoring in the crust, but everything else tasted far beyond what I expected. The marinara was thick and flavorful; the cheesy garlic bread was fresh and crisp and full of flavor as well, and the salad seemed to use only fresh ingredients making the whole meal quite enjoyable.
