The manager Gabby last night definitely lacks customer service skills. She was very rude and disrespectful. Our food was horrible and burned she still charge you instead of making the situation right the service was terrible. I mean terrible I don't suggest anyone go there when she is working there late night after 12. The food was terrible we tried to eat it. Every bite you took it's go worse and worser and she didn't want to correct it. Then she had the audacity to write her name on a napkin and place it in front of me with a nasty attitude and said if you have a problem call corporate!! As a manager or so called manager you should've been able to handle that situation throw that food away a re cook the food!! She made the owners lose a customer and future customers with her attitude. The entire situation very terrible people!! Gabby definitely need to learn how to work on her customer service skills. She will cost the owners in the long run by having the wrong attitude dealing with people you're in the wrong business for bad attitude and no problem...
Read moreWe went to the Hartwell Waffle House at 7pm on Thursday Nov 21st. It was full so we waited for a seat. While waiting we noticed no one was cooking, some had food and some did not. After several minutes a guy walks in and gets instructions from the waitress and begins cooking. Eventually a table was cleared and we were seated. While the cook was cooking, our order was taken and drinks were brought. After the cook finished the order he was working on, he disappeared. After several minutes the table behind us noticed we were looking around for the cook, they commented that it took an hour for them to get their food. We waited a few more minutes and still no cook. We went to the counter paid for our drinks and I mentioned to the waitress that the cook disappeared. The said yes, he disappears alot. We went to the fully staffed Huddle House down the road. We have been to this Waffle house several times, our previous experiences were very good. This review is only to make management aware of this specific Cook that is costing...
Read moreI'm a big fan of Waffle House and have been looking forward to having one in Hartwell ever since they announced it. Based on our visit, they are doing a good job training all their new staff and making sure the food and service are up to speed as they do it.
I always get a double order of scattered, smothered, peppered, and capped. It was just right (eg the peppers weren't clumped in one spot). I asked for a bit of regular milk for my coffee and they gave it to me without question (I'm just not a fan of the little cream things and am willing to pay for the extra milk).
