2nd Street Depot Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Hastings

We stop here all the time when we're in Hastings. Place has been here since 2010 made it thru the shutdowns and it's still here. The staff has been there forever to the point we know some of their names and they recognize us. Terrific staff. Cozy comfy and clean. Atmosphere is always lively and they have events on weekends down there all the time in the banquet hall. They have great grill food! Try their hamburgers-any one of them made to order. They're delicious and HUGE. bring your appetite. My personal favorite is homemade mashed taters and gravy over bread with sautéed mushrooms-its own food group! Friday fish fry is a legend, taco Tuesday is buffet-style and Wednesday is Coney day with Texas toast buns and homemade chili n cheese. And the meat raffle Saturday's are nuts! That this is one of them places that even if your sober the food taste fanominal I'd eat there everyday cause they have a great variety of food from pizzas to burgers and fries to appetizers and game's you'll love like pull tabs and online slots and the food is excellent and layed back atmosphere. people friendly and you can't for get breakfast like a bloody Mary or a train wreck well that last one you might want to try at least once cause you'll Love them I do and I'm sure you will to very nice place I'd give them More Stars but you only allow me 5 stars and they are More like 8 or 10 stars so you can't forget the name DEPOT ON 2ND ST IN HASTINGS so you to should get wrecked at the DEPOT DON'T FORGET THE (TRAIN WRECK). have fun and get wrecked...

A nice bar and grill on the end of 2nd Street.

We stopped for a quick lunch and a beer. The bartender was very nice and we had nice conversation. The food was delicious and they have a fair selection of appetizers and sandwiches that are more than the standard bar food.

I had an inferno burger with fries and it was delicious. The burger was done perfectly and it had plentiful toppings. This was one of the hottest burgers I've had. Most places don't actually give you a hot burger but a spicy burger.

My friend had the special burger. It was a chilli burger with sweet potato fries. She said it was delicious.

The place has a nice atmosphere for dining in or just drinks and the game. I highly recommend you stop next time...
