Second Street Antique Mall — Local services in Hastings

Nice store and friendly staff. Great selection both antiques and collectibles. My wife and I drove from Rochester and enjoyed the visit. However, one thing happened that bothers me. I found a Shure test record in a shelf of records and put it in the group I wanted to purchase. It was not marked with a price but some were, so I asked the attendant to give me a price on the stack of records. He pulled the test record out and said it wasn't for sale. He stated that the record was put in there by mistake and the dealer did not want to sell it. Fair enough, anyone one at the store could have easily removed the record in a minute or two at the most. To wait for a customer to find it and then say its not for sale at any price is odd. We spent almost two hundred dollars at this store today. Wonderful selection of antiques and collectibles. Staff is very nice and are great people to talk to even if you are just stopping in to say hi. Never once do you get the feeling of someone watching you or following you around. They are there to help you in any way but are nto breathing down your neck. If you are looking for a great place to spend the day looking through great items this is the place to be. I probably visit once ever two weeks and make a 40 plus...

Went here for the first time a couple weeks ago and i absolutely fell in love with this store!
