American Legion Post 47 — Restaurant in Hastings

Our waitress is the only reason I'd even give a star for this place. Your cooks are not cooks of any kind. I got the broasted chicken let me be clear I asked for ALLL WHITE .as well as your portions are very skimpy at best . And twice they gave me dark meat leg and thigh the first time then they gave me leg and breast the second time and it was raw. What happened to this place it used to be great food and great atmosphere ????? Now it's garbage food and cooks that look like they haven't showered in a week with long beards not wearing nets or anything . It's gross . I will not recommend this place ever nor will I probably ever come back . Whoever runs this place needs to do alot better . Again our waitress was the only reason I am giving this place any stars at all . She was very good and noticed exactly what I did . Then she took it off the bill . We appreciate her very much . Also girlfriends burger way over done and way over seasoned. Soggy bun as well. Also got the sweet potato fries soggy as hell cold and way over done . Point blank you guys need cooks not just bodies . The cooks you have I wouldn't hire to microwave Ramen. Again seriously disappointed...

We have been patrons for several years, however after today we will not be back! The changes in staff, increased prices and huge drop in quaility are enough for us to call it quits. The male bartender "Fuzzy" looked like he had just rolled out of bed and slept in his clothes. We watched him blow his nose and never wash his hands..YUK. Our server was cute and pleasant, but had no idea how to be a server. She forgot our drinks and the bartender finally ask if he could bring us something. When she finally came to take our order my husband was not even at the table?!? She did come back and was totally confused because we ask to split an order of fries. She brought us an entire basket of fries when all we wanted was a small side to share. The basket cost $5 on top of the increased price of our sandwiches, my BLT had one slice of bacon on the entire sandwich. We were shocked to see the bartender and some BOH staff do a shot of tequila...it was not even noon. I understand that the management is new....good luck with this club, it used to be the best food and service in town..those days are apparently long gone. We are sad to lose our...

Aside from the patio and view, I did not have a very good experience. The inside was dirty, the bartender smelled terrible and didn't wash his hands after picking something off the bottom of his shoe. I saw him do this, then make my drink. I asked our server is she could have the other bartender make it and told her why, she responded oh that's gross, but he does it all the time.. I watched the other bartender cleanly make a bloody, which was delicious. It took about 45 minutes to get an app and over an hour and a half to get food. There were 22 people in the whole place including who was at the bar and two servers on - who mostly chatted in the corner and smoked. I could see them smoking around the corner.. Our server was okay, not super friendly, not very accountable. The only good thing about our visit was the view and the bloody. This could really be a great place it the building and staff were cleaned up. We will take the extra 15 minutes to the outdoor bar in...
