This Review is based on service Not customer service! On 7/3/25 I made an attempt around lunch time to order food at the drive through at this location on Hardy st. I asked for a 2 piece dark, thigh and leg and was told they didn’t have any thighs and it would take 20 mins. I then asked for two legs instead the cashier said ok, I asked for okra she told me they didn’t have any! Ok so I asked for the Cajun rice was given my total and drove to the window to pay. Once I got there I was then told they only had a breast and one leg available! Now I’m upset because around lunch time or any time why would a chicken restaurant be out of anything? I then drove off and got lunch else where! I did not have 20 mins to wait on my lunch break. Ok so now it’s 8 pm and my husband makes an attempt to go back to this location just to be told by a very rude nonchalant guy at the window that they didn’t have fried chicken only roasted. My husband asked him how long would it take for them to fry? He answers “we’re not frying any because we don’t have any” and we’re waiting on a truck! This guys was so nasty with his response and remind you this not our first encounter with him! Customers no service cause one way this could’ve been handled was by putting a sign on the order screen saying were currently out of chicken or something! So yea that’s two strikes too many in one day for us! We won’t be returning to this location to be treated like this! Hopefully no one else have to...

Plastic fork broke off into the tough breast meat. Had to eat the green beans with a plastic spoon like a baby.

The "zest" sauce was too hot. Zest is lemon, not chili pepper. It's 150° outside. Make a lemon garlic sauce like that, minus the pepper, a zesty one that doesn't make me have to break out into a sweat while I'm eating.

The breast was clearly a bad piece. The whole top of it was missing. It was tough like it was left over from last week.

The leg and green beans were phenomenal.

Guess I didn't earn the privilege of a napkin to eat with my fried chicken after spending $14.

The guy at the window acted like he hated to me. Like he wished I wouldn't have appeared in front of him. Why the bad vibes I'm just there to get food.

When GC opened on 98 I was excited to try it. Unfortunately I was disappointed. When I saw this location open I was skeptical. However, I decided to give it try. Unfortunately the times online weren't correct with the actual store time. My husband and I ended up going there 10 minutes until closing. We were going by the time online which said it closed in an hour. However, we got there and ordered chicken breasts. Absolutely delicious! They were very hot with a fresh smell of spice. We loved it!!! We did apologize for coming at the time we did because the time was different online from in store. I will never go back to GC on 98..well done guys! Very...
