Food and Service was beyond horrible. Cold sloppy food and missing items. When I called and tried to politely tell the manager, Charlene was terribly unprofessional, and she wouldn't even let me finish a sentence. Every time I would try and finish what I was saying, she just kept rambling on very loudly overpowering my voice. She kept repeating the same things over and over so that she didn't have to listen to me speak. She basically told me that they don't give out free food just because I'm not happy. She then said to go ahead and call and make a complaint, and she even had the corporate phone number and store number memorized and was able to ramble that information off so fast that I couldn't even understand clearly what she was even saying. It's as if she had dealt with other people the same way before so many times that she was literally like a record on repeat. She then hung up on me, even after I had repeatedly asking her to stop talking over me. I called back again, only to have her pick up the phone and immediately continue to ramble the same things so that she still didn't have to listen to me. I felt very disrespected and upset that they basically stole my money and didn't give me what I paid for. So Because I kept getting hung up on, I went back to the store and drove up to the drive through with my receipt to try and explain once again that there were missing and incorrect items in my order. I was still being cut off mid sentence by the manager, and I was only able to speak long enough to mention that I would go report this to Purcell foods Inc. I was then told to leave the property or they would call the cops because I was being "hostile". Despite the fact that I did leave the first time they asked, the manager still called the cops to have me banned from the store as a form of retaliation because she knew I was going to report this incident to corporate. She was trying to cover her mistake of disregarding my complaint and treating me with disrespect by creating a false image of me being the one that was hostile, when the only thing that upset me was her refusing to let me even talk to her about it. So, If asking the manager to let me finish a sentence while trying to explain the problem means that I am the one being rude, then I think in reality the manager is really the one who has a problem with professionalism. This place should have stayed burned down because the people who work here obviously have no gratitude for their jobs or the customers who keep them...
Read moreIf i could give the manager no stars but the place itself is mostly fine, i would. I had two separate orders, i put a code for a free burrito for the first order and for the second order, a 99 cent coffee. i’ve done this way multiple times before. The mcdonald’s app was not working right today so it charged me full price for the burrito, and said i was only using points. (mind you, since it’s a coupon and a reward, you can use two codes on different orders) at this time, the lady in back cash was having a attitude and already over the situation that was happening. She called the manger over to back cash to see if she can help me out. When manager came, she told me it was only earning points. I tried one more time for the code on the rewards and coupon on both orders and it didn’t work. so then i tell her can you just cancel both orders and just re- ring me up for a burrito and only use one code for a rewarded burrito and not worry about the coffee, i’ll pay full price for it. The manager tells me she cannot do that. That the order is “already in the system”. MIND YOU IM A CURRENT MCDONALDS WORKER ALSO. The manager didn’t want to work with me. She stood there and lied and said she couldn’t take off the order. When we know damn well she could’ve voided off both items so the code did not go through since i did not pay for them. Instead of working with her customers, and using her finger to promo that off, especially when i am sitting there showing you my mcdonald’s app, really tells me how often she does this and does not work with the customers. She did not try to help me out other then telling me “I cannot do that “i cant” and etc. I had no problem with this mcdonald’s other then this situation. but this was absolutely ridiculous on how she didn’t even want to try to help. It makes me never want to go to this mcdonald’s again, although it’s very convenient, and it’s the closer mcdonald’s to my school. Maybe i’m use to my manger who actually works with her customers and tries to make them happy at my own mcdonald’s. I guess no every manager is like...
Read moreNormally I view our neighborhood McDonalds as the go to place when we're looking for a quick lunch but there is a certain cashier that unless you are complaining with her about how badly she hates to be at work then you pretty much get ignored. Stood in line a few extra minutes so the customer in front of me could complain about having worked there several years ago and then asked this cashier if she could go get her cup that was in her vehicle and purchased at another McDonalds earlier in the day and refill it....the cashier told her "sure, go ahead. I use mine the same way". The complaining is really no big deal, although it should be reserved for the break room or when not at work but am pretty sure that what was allowed by this cashier because the customer commiserated with her wasn't. Have seen it happen time and again and for those of us who leave with our drinks and do not return a day or more later with the same cup and cheat like that, it burns me up. But I digress, this cashier after making a new friend, went to walk away from the register and continued to ignore for a few minutes more before she was forced back to doing her job and while so friendly with her new friend was quite the opposite with me. My advice, take it or leave it your choice, management needs to carefully and closely listen to their employees while they are on the clock and remove those that aren't representing their business as they should, train properly and help those that seem to be only there to take up space, breathe in the air and collect a paycheck, out the door. Shame that those are the people who think they deserve a $15 an hour job while our military works for less than that and at times in a much more hostile...
