I had pancake there today. If they were much thinner could be crêpes. The pancakes n fruit. Fruit was fresh real surprised. Nothing to write home about. My opinion has not changed. It’s budget operation. Set up weren’t done until food is ready n waitress is just okay. Didn’t get 15% tip. My tip do your job better then you get a better tip. Let u earn it then just expect it.
There too many other places spend your money at but not here!
What can be improved you may ask?
Fire chef and staff then fire the person who hired them. Clearly this person is incompetent in the food space. I had better. Chef is looking in lost n found for salt n pepper. Chef should verify the food before sending out. Coffee good generic tasting. Hash brown/home fries chef does not know the difference. Eggs were done right. Margin and toasted Rye bread,, no flavoring either.
I don’t believe culinary team is trained professionally. Most likely school hard knocks. They need more hard knocks. The food quality is cut, rate. Maybe each franchise runs a separate P&L , food quality at the armor. Location is much higher. I feel this level of disrespect for this area because people will eat slop and don’t complain about it.
Ambience is really good. Too bad. The food doesn’t reflect that. I think the chain in this area will eventually close. There are people in this area who know what good food tastes like, this place isn’t serving good food. It’s not bad mine you, but for the price you should get much better. The observation based on three different meals over three different days observing the food, quality and taste. Budget basement at best. The owner should be ashamed of themselves. My husband and I came here to beat the crowd at 7:17am on a Saturday morning. I ordered the Southwest Omelet which was the worst chicken I ever tasted and the Omelet was cold and home fries were hot. My husband got the Seafood Omelet which I might add had NO shrimp or crabmeat as stated in the menu that it would. It did have the pineapple, tomatoe and avocado in it but the main ingredient that he paid for was NOT there and his home fries were cold! Shouldn't the food be cooked made to order??? We don't like to complain, so we just suffered thru it and ate as much as we could. This was our first and last time coming here, but I only came because of the reviews being good. Unfortunately, it wasn't that way for us, but our server was fine. We left disappointed and could have gotten a better breakfast at Ihop or Turning Pointe. I have had a majorly undercooked poached egg here multiple times now, ( a clear liquid egg), and even after bringing it to the attention of the staff and chef. My stomach is sick this time because unfortunately I ate the undercooked egg that is covered in hollandaise sauce and I will never eat here again. The first thing to learn in cooking is how to cook an egg and their chefs can't do that. Other than the food being dangerously undercooked, the service is sub par, and in some cases the waitresses flat out ignored our table until I had to get up and ask for service. I cannot recommend this place to anyone and especially since they most likely will get food...
