Nonnie's Brick Oven Pizza — Restaurant in Havre de Grace

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY I would give this no stars if I could. I have been trying for a WEEK to get an order fixed that was completely messed up and was a 40 dollar order. My Calzone which doesn't even come with oil and parmesan on it normally was covered in so much oil that the bottom of the box was buckling I couldn't even attempt to eat it. My fries which my husband told them "well done" (clearly they heard this well done was on the receipt) were not even cooked all the way I was biting raw potatoes. My cheese steak pizza tasted like the cheese steak wasn't even the least bit seasoned not even with salt and pepper yet again didn't even eat it. Out of a 40 dollar order we ate the chicken tenders. Furthermore it took over an hour for my food to be delivered and I live .2 miles from the store. Now on to how they conduct themselves as a business. I called THREE times the very night this happened. They wouldn't answer the phone so I left a voicemail. Called back the next day and said that I left a voicemail she said "oh I don't check the message box (then why have it) what's your problem". I explained she told me to call back Sunday so stay with me here that was Thursday. I call back Sunday and no one answered the phone at ALL and I called multiple times. I skipped calling Monday I have a job a husband a child and a life. I called Tuesday and had someone take my name number apologized pretended to care said he would have the owner personally call me the next day as he worked with him. No call. So I just now called. Was met with an attitude by an employee when I asked to speak to the owner then he comes on again with an attitude already and told me that he had no such message waiting for him to call me (really because I spent 5 minutes giving your employee my name number and what was wrong with my order). He had the audacity to take me being upset as me giving him attitude and couldn't see why I was upset being as I've been trying to fix this for a WEEK now. He acted like he wasn't going to do anything but now I've been told that if I come get my money back I basically won't be allowed to come there anymore because of my "attitude". This is ridiculous. This is NOT how you run a business and not how you deal with customers. Someone else had told me that they got placed on a do not deliver list......because they had an issue and wanted it fixed. I promise you if you order from them on a semi regular basis there will be a day where your food is disgusting, wrong, and just not want you wanted and they are going to make you feel like you're wrong for being upset. Sorry rant over. I would have given no stars if I could have. Update: I cannot believe that I'm even having to update this after my husband walked up there they argued with him about the food not being wrong and wouldn't give him a refund THEN I called back and they tried to lie and say he HAD been given his money back (he had not) and then I proceeded to argue with the owners son because his dad clearly can't handle customers and he tried saying he was there the night the order was placed he was not. I honestly don't know if I've ever had a more unprofessional experience at a restaurant. Please don't waste your money this man does not care about...

This place is a rather smaller carry out for main staples of pizza, subs, wraps, etc. They do have reasonable daily specials and a short variety of about 4 or 5 homemade desserts. Pizza is fresh dough and pretty good, though their sauce that is said to be made fresh daily, does vary in flavor and texture sometimes. They have a broad menu of items. Though, they had ran out of take-home menus, saying they "think the owner ordered more...but, other than that it's on Facebook...". I am not a FB fan or user, so this does no people any good. Staff not as outwardly friendly as they could be, but in the waiting area there are a few small booths and from what I saw on repeated visits, the place is pretty clean. Try their fried oreos! Though it seemed they were made with generic smaller cookies, they are pretty yummy and are something not found on other similar pizza carry outs. Old Bay wings were very good and nice sizes. I would have given 5 stars, but gave them 4 due to what I posted about the sauce (was bland, thin) and the staff all need some training in being more friendly in...

I gave this restaurant 1 star, but not for the food. They recieved 1 star based on the inaccuracies of the workers. The frustration is that the pizza is awesome, but the crew of kids is constantly screwing off. I was waiting on a pizza only to watch the crew sit around joking and talking while my pizza burned (add another 20 minutes to the visit) because someone couldn't shut up and pay attention to thier job. I've had several other ingrdient mistakes on my orders, but the last one was awesome. I ordered all mush 1/2 ham 1/2 pepperoni. EZ right? Nope got all mush, 1/2 pineapple and pepperoni. I called up and whoever answered said " well that's the way it was rung in". Probably one of the dumbest comments I've ever heard. Now it puts the blame on me the customer for ordering my own pizza wrong.... this place need as adult supervision.... what a disappointment that someone spent a lot of time building a decent restaurant to have a bunch of...
