Blane's Drive Inn - Industrial — Restaurant in Hawaii

Horrible! Its been awhile since I've been to Blanes cause it seems the quality of the food has declined. I used to like the place when my kids were growing up...it was reasonably priced and convenient...back in the day. I decided to stop by on my way home and give Blanes another try. Tonight I ordered the Teri Pork plate to go. When I got home, got out of the car and grabbed the plate, the underneath of the container felt sticky. I looked under to see if something had spilled or leaked out. I've never seen this before (and I work in reataurants all my life) but the bottom of the Styrofoam container had MELTED!!!! The scrawny two pieces of extremely burnt Teri pork had melted the Styrofoam container! I took a couple of pic's of it with my finger through the hole. I immediately returned to Blane's to get my money back. I showed the girl behind the counter the plate and told her I wanted my money back. She didn't even blink an eye or even pretend to be apologetic. In fact she didn't even apologize. Bad customer service! She told me I could keep the miso soup but told her I didn't want it...just my money back. I ended up going to Kawailani Mart deli for dinner...much better choice. I should've gone there in the first place. Needless to say, I will never go back to Blane's again and definitely will not recommend this...

What was once a wonderful place to eat is now absolutely terrible i understand there’s only One cook and i understand that it can be overwhelming but if a person asks for something on the side make it on the side! I ordered a burger it was for my mom I got a side of bacon the lady PUT THE BACON IN MY BURGER! The younger girl who was cashiering and assisting the cook asks me if I wanted the bacon on the side I said yes please . the older cook woman rolls her eyes and tells her to grab a little paper container. I wait for almost 25 minutes for a burger and UNDERCOOKED BACON COVERD IN CHEESE. I was planning on giving my mom some bacon for the burger and the other pieces of bacon were for me I can’t eat it now because IM ALLERGIC TO CHEESE!!!!!!!!! IMAGINE PAYING $13 for BACON which is UNDER COOKED and this happens ON YOUR BIRTHDAY absolutely disgusting I loved it here as a kid I’m so disappointed on...

To call this restaurant mediocre is to be exceedingly generous. Expensive, massive portions of absolute garbage quality food and horrible service make this restaurant an absolute waste of time and money. If you come here for a snack, I guess the fries are fine. The burgers are thick, oily, smelly, and taste like gasoline, and my sister got food poisoning eating one of them. The woman taking my order screamed my order back to the cooks while I was standing right there, she didn't smile, she did not say thank you. The staff is downright rude. The person who hired them deserved to be fired. If are considering a meal here, just go to the McDonald's across the way, at least their food tastes good and their staff makes an effort to look happy...
