Kalbi Express — Restaurant in Hawaii

Felt really sick and although their soup cost $15 (with taxes) i was willing to pay that but the wrong order was received. Cashier was not friendly at all about this matter and insisted that too bad and owners and family all came out of the back to say too bad. I believe that no matter what providing great customer service keeps people coming back and helps you get referrals and with this particular establishment it's more of like too bad we are right you are wrong if you don't like it go eat somewhere else attitude. Will probably never recommend this place even though the food is decent the prices are high but the owners are not very accommodating to...

Kalbi's is located in the Waiakea food court next to Walmart. You can dine in or take out. They have a lot of selections to choose from.

Their best dishes are the Korean menu if you love hot and spicy. Also, they have some local and American food menus to choose from too! Some dishes are pricey but it's worth it.

The staff are friendly and they do their best to serve you. Their combo selections are also great too! Their serving time is awesome!

Just be aware, if the line is long. Just be patient! I give them a 5 star rating because they used to be located in the plaza.

Major disappointment. Ordered Chicken Katsu small plate. Chicken was all dark meat pieces and very bland. The Kimchi was NOT fermented cabbage, was basically cabbage with spices. The broccoli tasted good, a hint of sesame oil. The broccoli were primary large stem pieces though. Price was about $12.
