So the people that work at Walmart are always so nice and I really think they do a fantastic job.
HOWEVER today around 1pm I got really hurt in the store. I was in line at check out and one of the items I was purchasing for my son didn't have a price on it so line #5 checker asked me to run back and get the price so she could ring me up. I asked if there was someone available to do price checks and she said they wouldn't be able to find it for me. I was buying boys shark swim shorts..
There was a lot of people behind me waiting and I was so embarrassed to have to do a price check so I decided to rush through the ladies clothes to get to the boys clothing area to do a price check on the item. I'm a size women's Medium and yet the walkway was narrow and awkward for me to walk through. In the walkway there was an empty shirt rack sticking out that I was unable to see because it blended in.
It hooked my arm as a walked by and it ended up really hurting my arm and shoulder. I think that if I wasn't so rushed and if they had people to do price checks I wouldn't have gotten so injured.
I'm not upset by any means with Walmart's employees at all, they are all really fantastic people. I just believe that price checks should be available. I as the customer did not mess up the price tag on the item so it should not be my responsibility to fix it. also being required to go backwards in line did not allow me to social distants myself from others and I had to walk uncomfortablely close to others which made me a target for ridicule and anger from th we other shoppers and put us at covid risk.
I just looked so stupid trying to sneak by everyone in line, and I'm super bummed that my arm is so swollen and bruised up. it super hurts. :( I have an audio immune disease called cryoglobulinemia and I don't heal as fast as others and often injuries turn into blood clots when I'm cold..... Anyways, price checkers would be amazing in Hilo's Walmart...
Read moreIt was difficult to find things. I shop a lot at another Walmart in Poulsbo, Washington. Every month I buy 4 to 8 of my favorite books to read. This store had them in mid June and early July, but yesterday the book selection was totally different and rearranged. My favorite books and authors were completely missing. I always buy my books at Walmart. Inspirational Suspense, Inspirational Historical, Inspirational everything. I love books about the Amish. Not one book was available. I usually always buy things for my grandchildren...but hard to find clothing for the 1 year old and the 8 months old boys. Used to always buy my comfortable cotton bras. Now nothing but those stretchy bras with foam inserts. Those are simply not practical for everyday use while gardening and doing household work. The new style bras have completely taken over all the selections. Not every woman is only searching for a sexy bra. We also want comfort, durability and practicality. Guess those things are being removed from our options. Used to buy cotton sheets in packages of only top sheet or only bottom sheets. Usually the bottom sheets need to be replaced first, but now I have to buy a whole complete set. What a waste!! Totally impractical!! And in the past I was able to buy complete bed sets with comforter, sheets, pillow shams and beds skirt. Now the nice cotton blends are gone. Now only fake, non-cotton flimsy and unappealing packages. Cheaply made. Guess I will have to shop at Macy's now, since no more Sears, and fewer and fewer J.C. Penny's. Walmart once offered good quality and good value and well run stores. Now? ...

The prices on the website do not match the prices on the store even if you place the location. Then if you want to order the item at lower price you have leave and drive back another day when the item they already have in store arrives. Dysfunctional.
Also a warning if you're brown or do not look the part; people in this Walmart are both racist and mysandrists. I was stopped in self check out because I just didn't look the part. There were 2 other women making big purchases but I was the only one stopped. I was told by the female worker that I'm supposed to put all the items on the check out (there was no space for all items lmao, the other 2 women did not do it either and who the hell are you to tell me how to purchase my items.) she checked the receipt and tried to tell me I had missed and items. WHICH I DID NOT. She realized immediate after. And after wasting 10 precious minutes of my life (I had just gotten off a 12 hour shift and wanted to go home immediate to sleep. I do not have 10 minutes to spare) she let me go. Just to get checked again at the entrance. Horrible experience, full of racism and mysandry. I will make sure to follow through once the men's movement catches up to the unfairness of this. Beware people of this Walmart, they are not here to help or to even make profit. They are here to exert the little power they've gained and laugh at your faces even when they are wrong.
NOT EVEN A...
