I usually order pizza online, but instead I called the order in for delivery. I spoke to a young lady whom I had to repeat my order to her about 3-4 times. I could hear in the background the staff yelling and laughing and she apologized that she had me repeat my card number to her because of the loud talking behind her. When I requested for delivery, she mentioned it would take 1 1/2 hours, I said no problem and this order was placed at 7:02pm. So then 8:46pm comes around and still no pizza, so called them back for an update and the young man who answered stated the pizza was out for delivery and I should get it soon. So again Im waiting. By 9:22pm I called them again inquiring about the delivery. A young man stated the pizza was still sitting at the store and that the order was for carryout. I asked to speak to the manager and he said I couldnt because the manager went home and he was the shift manager and Im thinking this guy cant even speak to me without trying to figure out his words and while Im speaking with him, he goes silent and I had to say hello several times to make sure he was still on the phone. So I informed him when I spoke to the gal when I placed the order, I specifically requested for delivery. He then states, the person didnt take my order correctly and that it was not his fault it was the person who took the order.
So now you know that Im thinking, this guy is not even a shift manager, because for one, you would not put blame on your staff and you will try to rectify what just happened. Then I asked him if he was sure he was the shift manager and he hesitated and said yeah. So I told him to please refund my card and expect the refund asap. He then stutterted and said it will be back in my card in 3 days and sorry for the bad experience. I mean come on Dominos, this is the type of unprofessional people you want working and representing you?
I read some of the reviews on here and I thought Ill give your team the benefit of the doubt because I have not had any problems. But seriously, I understand we have covid19 happening and I am part of the restaurant business during covid19 and let me tell you, this is unacceptable.
