Sadly, all good things must come to an end. I’ve touted the roast pork from here as being the best in the state, and I’ve tried every place on every island I could. The cut was consistent with the perfect layering of meat and fat with a perfect crackling; crispy not a football. Since my last visit they have changed ownership and altered the formula. It’s not the same. I enjoyed this for 15 years. Now I’ll keep on searching and try back again when I’m over on that end of the island. Every time I decide to go back there it never improves! I Ordered from buffet line about 6 months ago 3 choices, shrimp first beef broccoli second and when I order the 3rd choice char siu she puts back 2 pieces of shrimp from my plate because she said for 3 choices we give less shrimp! Then we decided to eat there again tonight! Same thing, flavor was disappointing! Took the shrimp out of the batter and it was only half a small size shrimp cut lengthwise ( was not a whole shrimp) the batter was 5 times more than the shrimp! I'm done with...

As a Cantonese I will say the char siu, roast pork and roast duck here is definitely above average in United States. However, other dishes like chow fen and chow mein might not be good. I wonder who brought such authentic char siu recipe all the way...
