New China Restaurant — Restaurant in Hawaii

I ordered 2 orders to go, one shrimp and one Korean Chicken. I made it very clear that I didn't want crispy chicken. When I got home with my orders, the Korean Chicken was crispy chicken in sauce. I called the girl back, and she said that's how Korean Chicken looks. I've eaten in dozens of Korean Chicken restaurants across Hawaii and the Korean Chicken never looks like this. Korean Chicken is filet of chicken grill with no batter. I asked if I could exchange it for something other than chicken, the rude girl refused. She left me on the phone for a loooong time while she asked the manager. Girl was carrying her baby the entire time I was there. Place felt more like daycare than Chinese restaurant. The manager is probably her husband or brother, because what business let's you carry around your baby while at work. They refused to let me exchange my food for something else, and it's $20 a plate. So I paid $20 for a plate of white rice, and crispy battered chicken that I won't eat. I've driven by this Chinese restaurant my times and the lights are off, and no cars in the parking lot, but the sign shows open. The place looks out of business to me, so today I stopped, because my Korean girlfriend wanted Korean Chicken. I tried explaining that I used to live in Oahu and have eaten at a dozen Korean restaurants, and never seen Korean Chicken looking like this, but before I could finish, the rude girl hung up the phone in my face. Dined inside with the wife had the dinner buffet for me and duck and pot stickers for the wife must say duck isnt what you'd expect very stale and old tasting pot stickers soggy. The buffet was not a huge variety but some fairly good dishes. The staff is rude seems most Oriental places here are a tad bit racist especially this one. One employee was leaving and on her way was hand signaling pointing to her eyes to her other staff basically telling her to watch us apparently thinking we gonna flee I mean really I paid them even gave a tip. So if your on a run and want food asap come here..if you're ever in the big island and want great chinese food try jade cafe waimea...

The food is always old and warmed over, even when you arrive first for the buffet. Don't bother eating here, no flavor. They were good when they first re-opened after the remodel but the food went down-hill fast after that. The staff also seemed disgruntled whenever my husband and I arrived. One Friday we arrived an hour before closing, and the waitress tell us they are closed. Food obviously still out on the buffet, people being served, open sign still on, but she would not serve us.
