Review for Ravyn & Robyn
We had an absolutely phenomenal dining experience at Ravyn & Robyn our second visit, January 18, 2025!
Our server, Markela, was gracious and provided excellent service. She was attentive, pleasant, and made our dining experience so much fun.
A special shout-out to Christian at the bar. This gentleman is not just a bartender; he is an artist! Watching him make drinks is like watching an artist with their paintbrush. My wife had a lemon drop martini, my aunt had a chocolate martini, and I enjoyed a glass of wine. My wife and aunt couldn't rave enough about how good their drinks were—simply the best drinks ever.
We love coming here and have already made future reservations. You simply can't get better food, better service, or better drinks than at Ravyn & Robyn! We can't wait to get back there in February. Christian, save us a seat at the bar!

Ravyn & Robyn in Hawley, PA - A Must-Visit Gem (our visit December 10, 2024) From the moment we stepped into Ravyn & Robyn, we were enveloped by an ambiance that was nothing short of amazing. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect stage for what would become an unforgettable dining experience.
Christian, the bartender, was an absolute standout. His eloquence and professionalism in crafting drinks were matched only by his genuine care and attention to detail. Despite being first-time visitors, Christian made us feel like long-time patrons. When I asked for a drink to commemorate my recently deceased father-in-law, Christian's heartfelt response, touching his heart and expressing his condolences, was incredibly touching. It was clear that this was going to be one of the best restaurant experiences we’d ever have.
The individualized service at Ravyn & Robyn is truly exceptional. Christian’s ability to make each patron feel special is a rare quality. His meticulous approach to making drinks and his warm, family-like hospitality set the tone for the evening.
We started with the beet salad and the margherita pizza as appetizers, and both were out of this world. The pizza, in particular, transported me back to Italy with its authentic taste and quality, as if it had been flown in fresh from an Italian oven. For the main course, we had the lasagna, which was equally impressive. The flavors were so authentic that it felt like a slice of Italy right here in the States.
In closing, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Christian for making our first experience at Ravyn & Robyn so memorable. Special thanks also to the young gentleman who made the same recommendations; although I regret not getting his name, his suggestions were spot-on. After the Ritz Christmas show, we passed by Ravyn & Robyn again, and seeing Christian wave at us through the window was the perfect end to a perfect evening. I had to open the door and thank him once more.
Ravyn & Robyn is a MUST, MUST, MUST visit spot. If you’re in Hawley, PA, do yourself a favor and experience the magic for...
Read moreIt is very upsetting to me that I have to write this review, this place used to be a staple for my family and I but not anymore. I would recommend this place to everyone and I cant anymore, I would leave zero stars for service if I could. Let me start at the beginning. We walked into the door and there were about 6 tables there and we were asked to wait to be seated, we stood there for about six minutes before anyone else acknowledged us. Once seated the waiter took forever to come greet us, drop bread, bring water, and FINALLY take our order. The whole time took about 15 minutes. The drinks were ok but not great. The apps came and most of them were just bad. We ordered the meatballs, they were dense and almost inedable. The arenchini looked great but it was cold in the middle when first served, and then the second time on the table they tasted old or bad, we didn't eat more then 2 bites. The veggie bruschetta was great but it wasn't really a special as it was on their old menu. We also had a cheese board that came with the saddest looking cheese and honey, no nuts, no dippable bread, not even sat and pepper on the burrata, definitely not worth $28. Our waiter didnt check with us if anything was ok and we sat there a while for them to clear our dishes. Entrees took a while and at this point there was only 1 other table in the restaurant. The bolognese, the squid ink pasta, and the milanese were alright. Again the waiter did not check if everything was ok, pretty much refused to clean the empty drinks from the table as they sat in a pile on the corner all meal. Dessert was the worst part. After we got the servers attention to finally clear our entree plates it took 20 min for dessert to arrive in a completely empty restaurant, we timed it! We got their riggota cheesecake and it was dry and topped with a weird flaky substance that was not listed on the menu or explained to us. We also got their fondant special, it was ok but it was clearly a frozen product, it was also only like 4 bites for $17? Thats a bit much. We left $44 on a $300 check and it still felt like we over tipped, nothing was offered to be removed from bill and we had to bring the check to the server to even be rung up so we could leave. Worst experience I've had at a restaurant, will not be coming back for...
Read moreThis was hands-down the absolute worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Seated at a table with multiple dead flies on the table cloth. Restaurant very busy which we totally understand and we’re very patient. 20 minutes before anyone greeted us and then it was another 20 minutes to receive our drinks. After it was a total cluster that got worse and worse. Nobody was officially our server but somehow everyone was. They have some kind of team system, but no one checks on your regularly - you have to flag someone down to order anything and then they are extremely apathetic and no one wants to take ownership of anything or try to rectify anything. I think we had 6 different servers but not one of them were actually our server. Food finally came out 2.5 hours after we ordered. But only 2 plates of 4 came out and then 7 minutes later the rest came out. We had no silverware when it arrived and then after we asked for silverware we were given tiny dessert forks! One dish was ice cold, so they heated it up and when it returned it was overcooked mush and watery. Finally someone who we called over to share our distress with, started accusing us of not being patient for homemade food and said the dish was ruined because we wanted it heated up. They only made excuses, didn’t apologize at all, told us we were wrong and didn’t want to hear what our issues were at all. It’s a shame because the food (we all had pasta) was actually outstanding, like really good- but the service was so so so bad and it seemed like no one cared if we died at that table. The server comped the one ruined entree, we got the check, paid, and left after 2.5 hours of basically begging for drinks and service the entire time. I’ve been here 3 times and each time the service is a little lacking and slow, but the food is exceptional and homemade which makes up for it, but this time was so bad I will absolutely never return because they only blamed us for the problems and didn’t seem to...
