Exquisitos Raspados — Restaurant in Hayward

It literally took us almost 20minutes to just get 2 Raspados. Coming from Arizona, I wanted my Fiance to get his First Raspados and so we went here. We waited the entire time bc it was the only place in the area we saw had Raspados. There was no Greeting and hardly any English. I Wish they understood Wait times and Courtesy. Just a simple Hello would have made this less painful. The Raspados we're good though, yet Everything else was just wrong. We found another place with Raspados down the street nearby, and it only took us 5min from Start to Finish. Will not be back here and would not recommend it to anyone. A place that does a mangonada justice was finally found! The mango raspado here is phenomenal, with a perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and tangy flavors. The base is made from fresh, sweet mango, layered with chamoy and tajín. The crunch of the tamarind candy on top added an extra layer of texture that was absolutely addicting. Grandma got the coconut raspados which was creamy, my son loved the blue bubblegum. Lots of flavor. Mom got guanabana which could of had way more flavor and not so watery. We all loved the pineapple one I got. Coconut and pineapple had but of fruit pieces on top. They also have burgers fresh off the grill in the front. overall satisfied and will be returning soon!
