Edit: I suppose the management's misutilization, let alone comprehension of the review process, is only rivaled by the tone deaf manner in which they operate their establishment. You are not dealing with your best and your brightest here. This place is charging $35 for a single pizza, and if you have something to say about the quality, you are SOL or met with the ramblings that you see here and on many of THEIR other reviews. I welcome everyone to look at my reviews. That's kind of what this thing is all about. Maybe I will check Pantera's out again in the future when there is yet another management change. Time will tell.
After my last visit, I REALLY hoped this place could get their stuff together. First off, the sauce is not made from scratch, and a quick look in their dumpster can confirm this. Second, the sandwich bread tastes like Sam's club buns that have been frozen. Third, you can't charge the $ they do for pizza, and it come with big bubbles under the dough. My final statement has to do with the staff and the cleanliness of the restaurant. If an employee arrives to start a shift with indications of poor heigene, it not only reflects poorly on the management for letting said employee prepare and serve food, it is irresponsible. This is a neighborhood place I am embarrassed to see go down such a ruterless path so quickly. The REAL owner is an elderly man who lives in St.Charles who isn't around much and it is showing. Unfortunately, management changes a couple of years ago have driven this...
Read moreI’ve been on a months long quest to find a truly delicious pizza that I can get delivered to my house. I ordered from this location on Postmates, this evening, and it is my absolute favorite of all the ones I’ve tried so far (keep in mind the list is limited to delivery to my address).
I got a pepperoni pizza with extra mozzarella, garlic cheese bread, and their fried cauliflower. The drive was almost 30 min, but even though it’d cooled a bit, it was amazing to me!! The cauliflower was as expected. The garlic cheese bread had tons of garlic on it, which I LOVE! And the cheese was perfection. The pizza had robust flavor and the cheese was DELICIOUS! I don’t know why the cheese on pizza from different restaurants tastes so different when they all say they use mozzarella. So, finding a pizza with good cheese has been a challenge for me. I’ve been looking for a deliverable pizza similar to the pizzas at Crest Bowl and Casey’s General Store because neither of those is close to home for me (I know, it’s a tragedy).
Don’t get me wrong, I still love Imo’s, Sauce on the Side, Blackthorn, and Jet’s, but Pantera’s really nailed the elusive and hard to describe taste that I’ve been craving for years.
THANK YOU Pantera’s!! Please don’t ever change...
Read moreI hadn't went to Panteras in about 7 years, so we decided to today. I don't know where to even begin...the price, let's start there, it was just so overpriced. A fry that wasn't even equivalent to a medium McDonald's was 2.99. My bill was 80 dollars for 4 med pizzas a sandwich and a fry and mushroom. So you expect the food at that price to be very good...no, it wasnt, was below average for sure. The service...they had my two orders combined, all wrong, after being stressed to keep them separate. The food...two of the pizzas were not done, dough that was soggy and clearly not cooked properly, pizzas not with the correct crusts and I'm sorry, but just not good quality food. I have NEVER given a bad review before to any food establishment but this one has to have one from me,...
