Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Hazle Township

I had to pick up some medicine in hazelton and chose to take this route home. I saw Popeyes and immediately turned in!!! Gimme that Mac n cheese goodness and crispay chimkin yummies. Yeah so one car in front. I wait 4 minutes and realize she hadn't said a word. She was waiting to order. Another 5 minutes and she gave her 60 second order. We're at 10 minutes with 1 car in front of me finally finishing ordering. Ok. Pull up... "welcome to Popeyes, are you a rewards member?" No I'm not. "OK. Be with you in a minute." Dude I just waited 10 minutes.... ok. 4 minutes later and I finally had to say something because at this point my 3 month old baby has been screaming her head off for 10 minutes because we stopped moving for more than 90 seconds. 🙃😑 "Excuse me, may I please order? My baby is screaming her head off in the car." "Yeah what can I get for you." "#1 just the sandwich and a regular Mac n cheese please. " "Ok pull up please." I also added on mayo to my sandwich then pulled up. The car in front of me was being handed an apple pie it appears they had forgotten and pulled up. Pulled to the window and the employee greeted me and took my card. The4 visible workers were just waiting for the food to be made and handed to them but it took a fair amount of time. Probably 6 minutes from order til my food was handed to me. I thanked the worker and pulled up to make sure my food was made right. It was. But yall.... I was SHOOK. the Mac n cheese was $4.99 and MAYBE 3 or 4 ounces?!?! Whaaaat. The chicken sandwich was mid. The mayo was eh and the chicken was thin on the edges but fat in the middle so the outside was Ok to eat but the inside was flaming hot. The pickles were missing something but had a good bite. The bun was delightful. The Mac n cheese... heaven in every single artery clogging, vessel narrowing bite. I will take the gamble of a bi yearly Popeyes Mac n cheese binge. Happily. Not worth $5 butttt it was very good and filling. I can understand the sizing of the portion. So I'll give you a 2 star the greetings, 4 stars for the Mac n cheese blissful adventure and mid chicken sammy, and a 1 for the atmosphere of baby screams and cacophony for 15 minutes because, in all honesty, it should have taken 5 for this whole experience to go down. I love giving kind reviews. Sook I'll check back in a few weeks when I have to refill my medicine and hopefully change...

Food was ok but the drive thru area was creepy as hell,and I don't have enough time to talk about the horrible service,I don't know if it is just cause this Popeyes is in the city area and I'm from a small town,or if the person who waited on us thru drive thru speaker may have just been having a bad day,and must of been same person who slapped my bag and debit card in my hand but definitely would of never got a tip from us had we been in a place where they wait on you at table,I'm afraid to even think about the attitude we would have got them,and if you still plan on going here, for your own knowledge please please please remind them at the window when food is slapped in your hand to give ya the dipping sauce that ya specifically asked for at speaker cause they definitely didn't like the fact I had to knock on drive up window and interrupt there social media live event they had going because if looks could kill my wife and I would have been dead after that cause one of them said and I quote wow like he couldn't walk in here and ask for it, and again was slapped in my hand to point it dented the little plastic container they come in,and only got one container for my food and one container for my wife's food,and I paid for extra containers of sauce,don't quote me I think I paid 4 dollars and change for 2 extra things of sauce that I didn't get and didn't wanna interrupt their little social media event they were more worried about,than working so we just used the little bit we had and drove off,my wife is more forgiving than me and is kind of person to blow things off and say just forget about it,but she even said honey we need to call corporate and let them know about this,but seeing that the one has 2 small babies,( oh yeah 2 babies were sitting on counter one in a car seat type thing and the other kid just sitting there keeping his brother or sister content w a bottle) I didn't want to be the reason she was fired,I figure I'm sure someone else could do that,and I will just put it in a review,have a great day everyone and hope you read review B4 ordering here,and if you do please video them if same seems to happen to you when you place order,I'm sure video...

Hanif the manager is absolutely awful at managing his store. He doesn’t speak English too well and has to have an employee translate for him. I ordered food for pickup off of GrubHub and watched this man hand my order off to the wrong customer. When I arrived to the window, he choppily said he didn’t have the order and another delivery driver got it. My order was not for delivery, it was for pickup so he gave out the wrong order to the wrong customer without confirming/double checking the order tag/number. I asked for my food to be remade and he sat there with me arguing for 20-30 minutes saying “we can’t remake your order.” Not once did he acknowledge his mistake. Nor did he apologize immediately. He only offered a half-arsed apology after I explained to him how management and employees should be handling delivery/pickup orders as I also work in fast food so I know how these things work. His attitude was awful, his knowledge on customer satisfaction is nonexistent, and his ability to manage and run a store is dishonorable! I feel so sorry for his employees because they seem to know more about running a store than he does. Especially one girl in particular who’s name escapes me as I write this review. Two stars for service only for that one specific girl who I can’t remember right now. If you see this girl, I’m so sorry. This encounter happened on 9/27/25 around 9:55pmish.
