Firetower Coffee — Restaurant in Helena

Ok, we've been back to Firetower Coffee quite a few times since our original visit. We usually just get drinks or a cookie, no more sandwiches. We have yet to be disappointed! Service is always spot on! Price is always good! Atmosphere is top notch! Quickly has become my favorite place to visit....and I don't even like coffee! I did notice that one worker made better "steamers" than the other worker. No big deal. Seriously, this place is amazing! Very cool decor and atmosphere. Great service. Great drinks. My only complaint (thus 4 stars) is that the sandwiches are kind of small for the price you pay for them. When a BLT is advertised with lots of bacon, two strips is not what I would consider a lot. The tomatoes were sliced so thin they were almost invisible on the sandwich. Very little lettuce too. And was that ranch dressing instead of mayo on there??? The pickles you serve with the sandwiches are amazing! Love the variety of seating options, the wi-fi and the college students studying....makes for a warm and inviting place. It is a shame that my first experience would be one of disappointment. I assume the young lady behind the counter had been working 11 hours "11 hours later and I can't leave this place." (Also talking about packing) My order was wrong and when I brought it up she did not react in a way that was conducive to great customer service. I ended up saying nevermind I'll take them. (I know, my choice...I didn't feel the need to cause a scene and she seemed so flustered.) The wrong order still tastes amazing...just not what I went in for. I only wish that I hadn't tipped her on my card as I was paying before my drinks were made. I definitely would not have left...

My wife and I went there for a nice lunch based on recommendation from friends and tv advertising. We arrived at about 11:30 and found very few places to sit. Seems most normal sized tables were occupied by one person, a lap top and a cup of coffee. We ended up sitting in the back at a very small table in the dark. My wife had a salad which she thought was marginal; mostly limp lettuce with a few additions. I had the club which was pretty good.
