Jack's Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Helena

Came through DT at 8:33pm to get dinner for family. The girl on the speaker wasnt very polite but thats the perusal at this jacks so im not shocked. They were waiting on chicken so they asked me to park. Np. At 8:53 I proceeded to go inside to check on food cause I think they forgot about me. I let 2 young girls with black hair know that I was still waiting on my food now for 20 mins. They said they were still waiting on chicken. I told the girls there is noway your still waiting on chicken still 20mins later. She said they had orders b4 me but I was the only person in DT and there was noone inside. (But there was 3 -teenagers outside smoking and vaping at the door entrance. 2 in jacks uniforms.) This statement upsets them and they said well we are waiting do you still want your food or not. Yes of course that's why I'm in here. They took out the other cars food that ordered 15mins after me. While im standing there now waiting. And they got chicken as well. I'm getting nasty looks from both girls. Like I did something wrong. All I wanted was food for my kids and to go home. Just because I didn't feed into their lies they got an attitude. The manager did come over and apologize and said their was a kitchen miscommunication and proceeded to give me a refund. Do I think he will do anything about the 2 girls that mistreated me...absolutely not. Chicken was fresh but the gravy was super thick and lumpy and just looked old. So I didn't eat it due to it not looking appetizing and not wanting to risk getting sick. It's sad I can't even eat at a restaurant in my hometown and get good service cause they allow their employees to run the restaurant with...

Everybody's favorite southern restaurant, at least better then Jack in the box, might have to try that one again but Jack's also isn't that unique compared to something like Milo's but look on the bright side, there are plenty of things positive!

Service: Entered into the restaurant, was greeted upon arrival, nice. I was gonna look at the menu a bit and take my time so they were chill about it, not rushing me at all. Asked for a strawberry milkshake, boneless wings (NEW!!), fries, a large drink and a chicken wrap (also new). They delivered as I said firmly, for here.

Atmosphere: Just your typical old style restaurant, not that many people here but you know it gets serious sometimes when there are more customers then workers, every table has these little cut out thingys that advertise family meals or something related to food but it gets me hyped up for more, and more and did I forget to mention, more?

Food: Ight, yall gotta try this out, it's only for a limited time too, they got boneless wings now, yep no cap 🧢 if you are a wing lover, you're bound to come here, they got different flavors, normal BBQ, kickin BBQ which is like a spicer version and probably honey mustard as well. Their chicken wrap is small but tasty, fries are to be expected with little to no seasoning, wish they had more 🙏🙌 and get this a strawberry milkshake $3.39 (SMALL) is more then a large drink $1.99 crazy how that works lol but strawberry good, but not as good as arby's

I see more reviews such as mine about the female drive-thru worker (the one w a neck tattoo and no I’m not against tattoos bc I have several myself). I honestly don’t know why you continue to employee her. I just moved to Helena and I had to listen to her rudeness the first time I came through but today she was on an entirely different level. Cutting people off (elderly ppl btw) before they can finish their order, asking (yelling at) the guy in the car in front of me, “Why didn’t you tell me that to start with?!” and telling him he could get her in big trouble for not giving his order right. Maybe she needs to hold herself accountable for any trouble she may be in bc of how she treats ppl instead of blaming them. She deserves to be “in trouble”! I’ve never in my life witnessed any drive thru worker as bad as her. She should probably be cooking in the back if you keep her on the staff, NOT DEALING WITH THE PUBLIC. But then again, I feel like she would definitely tamper with food in an attempt to release her negativity onto others. Poor business move on Helena Jack’s for letting her represent them. Btw, every other employee I’ve encountered there has been excellent and made up for her horrible attitude. I understand we all have bad days but she’s literally just ruining everyone’s morning every time...
