Alberto's Mexican Food-SANDERSON & STETSON HEMET — Restaurant in Hemet

I have tried a few places in town for mexican style fast food, and this one is one of my top places to go to for the items I know won't disappoint. I loved it when they had the mulitas! They were the best! My favorite thing about this place is that they have a section near the sodas where you can serve yourself some chilles and onions. They are an amazing add-on to all the items I have tried so far. The salsa selection is good. I like the habanero one it's very spicy. I signed up for their website to get points, and it comes in clutch at times. I just checked, and every 100 points earned is $10 off. Ya boy is at 102 points, so you know I'll be back to run that discount, lol. If I had anything to say, it would be to get there a good 2 hours before closing if you want to try them Chilles and onions. I'm telling you, the best thing to add to your food, mind you, the Chile's are spicy. If you go the last hour you won't get any and it hurts every time.. Usually we are happy with this restaurant. We order delivery majority of the time. However, on this day we received our order and they messed up on my father's meal. Out of all of us, it had to be my Dad's meal. I'd rather it have been anyone elses. I mean, he's the head of the house. I ordered him one Sope with No Sour Cream. Well, it arrived with a big dallop of sour cream on top. He opened his box and was immediately disappointed. I removed the sour cream off, but unfortunately in doing that the Cotija cheese and the diced tomatoes had to be removed along with it since those toppings were on top of the sour cream.. All he had left was the Sope shell, beans and some shredded lettuce. He was very unhappy with it. Just No Sour Cream was all he asked for. Actually, now that I think of it...his last order was messed up too. 🤔 Last time he ordered chicken fajitas with less chicken and more of the veggies. Well, it arrived with Extra chicken in it. GOOD SERVICE! I can always count on getting good service at this Alberto’s. The staff is nice and they are helpful when you ask them a question. The restaurant is also pretty clean and PLENTY of seating. I like that you can order from your seat and not even have to go to the register. All you have to do is scan a QR code if you’re not feeling very social lol. Also, they have a touch screen self-serve kiosk for ordering your food if you don’t want to scan the QR code or go to the register. Love it! The food is iffy sometimes. For instance, this current visit I had way too much cilantro in my birria burrito and the beans weren’t fresh. Everything else in my burrito was good, they just need to watch their cilantro portions and fix the kinks in their bean-making process. This location added pepino (cucumber) water as a beverage option and I was so happy! The drink was refreshing! I still have hope in this Alberto’s, the Carne Asada fries are pretty good last...
