Cynthia's sweet treats — Restaurant in Hemet

I am not giving a food review, due to the fact of poor and rude service. I must say that what I saw in the way of the pastries in their counter displays that were for sale, did look very nice. We asked for a price and size of cakes that could be ordered. The young lady, that I believe she said was the owners daughter, seemed a bit put off that I was even asking her prices. I guess that with the reviews that have already been established from her customers, that a question was apparently out of the question. I found that to be quite amusing that an owner in a small business in Hemet would be so abrupt and Kurt. Well it goes unsaid that she did not get our business and I told my wife that she possibly was having a bad day. To many bad days can very much spoil a business in these times that we live in. Our hope is that your future days will be full of possibilities and positivities..................This is an amendment to the owners response !!! When my wife and I came in to your shop, it was a few months ago; I am just now putting out the review because I now have the time. When we did come in, it was in the early afternoon; the young lady was the only one present at that time in this shop. No, you were not present and I did not tip anyone for anything. What brought it to mind to give the review at this time, is that we found a wonderful Bakery on Harvard Street in downtown Hemet. Great Bakery items and very courteous. I was not going to put that in my review as a matter of courtesy to your shop. Since you put your own two cents out there, I will reveal what reminded me about your shop....

We stayed in Beaumont for a quick getaway in June on a Friday and Saturday. We visited family while in Hemet we had to visit this bakery that came by recommendation to get some gourmet pastry's . We got to chat with Pastry Chef Cynthia herself. She bakes daily, takes phone orders, and caters. She is friendly and made us feel at home .

Most of all customers that came in while we were there she knew by name. When you have regulars that is a good sign. We felt confident.

Okay so the Strawberry crunch cupcakes delicious! So so good We bought different pastry's...like the lemon bar which was my husband's favorite. We took back to our room for later the bread pudding, the brownie , the famous Gerry pastry. We literally enjoyed everything we tried. Thank you Cynthia. We will be back !

Outstanding outstanding outstanding I bought a sampler of everything just about everything in the store because everything in the store looks so good. I got it home and it's like everybody wanted something even the even the dogs it was that good. It was great appreciated being there to see uprising company growing up in the city of Hemet. You should stop by there and give this young lady a chance. It's well worth the effort to stop in to this bakery. I'm not sure what all she does but what she had out there in display was delicious. She had gluten-free products also. I cannot say enough how delicious everything was when I got it home. Thank you very very much sincerely Gregory Givens Staff Sergeant United States Marine...
