You gotta respect the schmear :( the lack of cream cheese on my bagel was extremely saddening. I genuinely had to buy a cream cheese tub from the gas station in order to enjoy it đȘ I wouldâve just tossed it otherwise. Love their coffee and matcha! But this was unacceptable (just look at the pics)
Full Story: I went to Eagle Brew this morning and ordered two coffees, a bagel sandwich, and a bagel with cream cheese. I asked the guy at the register if the bagels had a good amount of cream cheese, so I can gauge if I need to ask for extra and he said that I should be fine. Our drinks came out immediately and the bagel sandwich came out a bit later, but my bagel with cream cheese took about 15 minutes to come out. When I unwrapped my bagel I didnât see jalapeños, so we asked if this was a jalapeño bagel or if there was a mistake (the amount of cream cheese was almost the same as in the pictures, maybe a tiny bit more) So the barista said they could double check and re-make the bagel. By then it had been 25 minutes since placing our order. When I received the re-made bagel, it looked exactly the same as the first one only with even less cream cheese⊠(the photo shows what I was given) đđŒ I was already late for work by this point, so there was no time to return. You gotta respect the SCHMEAR or at least give customers a heads up if this is how you serve your bagels. To me, the way it was served would not have been enjoyable to eat and wouldâve been better off tossed in the trash. Luckily, during my lunch break, I found cream cheese at the local gas station and bought some. The bagel was delicious! Just wish it wouldâve COME like that.
All in all Iâm just bummed, cause this trip to Eagle Brew not only made me late for work, but left me with an empty stomach...

This place has clearly earned its loyal followingâthe line stretched out the door, but the wait moved quickly. The decor is a nostalgic mix of rustic Americana and local pride, with an eclectic collection of signs and memorabilia (including a bold Texas-themed "We Donât Call 911" that added to the quirky charm).
The Highlights: â My cortado was excellentâpromptly made, smooth, and just the right strength. đš Cozy, lived-in vibe with a sense of community history.
Room to Grow: đ Theming feels randomâmore like a curiosity shop than a curated concept. đ¶ââïžđ¶ââïžđ¶ââïž - line can be manageable via online order or pre-order options via some self-check-in machines
Final Take: Come for the top-notch coffee and stay for the unpretentious, small-town charm. A solid choice if you appreciate personality...
Read moreCame here on a whim looking for a more concentrated coffee flavor in comparison to Starbucks or chain coffee shops because they advertise cold brew and it's still not as strong and flavorful as I'd like. So, I came with my husband and mom, the menu was pretty intriguing just because they had a lot of flavors to choose from. They also sell pastries. Upon my husband getting a latte and I choose matcha, we both share what we get and I definitely will be going back because the coffee is strong and sweet at the same time and I personally feel like it's hard for most places to achieve that. Their matcha was also very good and better than Starbucks since Starbucks changed their recipe or whatever. I'm also very happy that they share their art on the walls, and have an appreciation for...
