Re: Formal Complaint Regarding False Advertising and Unprofessional Conduct
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to formally address a serious issue of false advertising and unprofessional conduct I encountered at your [7199 S. Sanderson Ave.] managed by Kalola. On July 1, 2024, I visited the aforementioned location and noticed a promotion displayed prominently on the store window: spend $25 and receive a $25 coupon.
Upon completing my purchase, I inquired about receiving the $25 coupon as advertised. To my surprise, Kalola, the store manager, claimed to have no knowledge of the promotion. Despite the promotion being clearly advertised, she refused to validate it and was exceedingly rude in her demeanor. When I requested to speak to her district manager, she denied my request and refused to provide any contact information.
This experience has been highly frustrating and disappointing. It constitutes false advertising and reflects poorly on the professionalism and integrity of your company. I have attempted to resolve this matter by emailing your corporate office but have not received a response.
As a loyal customer who supports your business, I am deeply concerned about being misled and treated disrespectfully. Your company's failure to honor the advertised promotion is not only deceptive but also a breach of consumer trust.
Given these circumstances, I demand immediate action to rectify this situation. I expect: Validation of the $25 coupon as advertised. A formal apology from Kalola and your company for the unprofessional conduct and inconvenience caused. Clear communication of policies to all store employees to prevent such incidents in the future.
Failure to address this matter promptly will leave me with no option but to seek legal recourse for false advertising and the distress caused by your store manager's conduct. I trust you will handle this complaint with the seriousness it deserves and look forward to your prompt response.
Sincerely,
Stephanie
Subject: Misleading Advertisement Concerns
Dear Jersey Mike's corporate office
I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding the recent advertisement campaign which, in my opinion, is misleading to consumers. The advertisement suggests that by purchasing $25 worth of food, customers are entitled to receive an additional $25 worth of food, whereas in actuality, the $25 credit is only applicable towards merchandise.
This discrepancy between the advertisement's implication and the actual terms of the promotion is potentially deceptive and may constitute a violation of consumer protection laws. It is imperative that advertisements accurately reflect the terms and conditions of promotions to maintain consumer trust and avoid legal repercussions.
I request that this matter be reviewed and that corrective actions be taken to ensure that future advertisements are clear and truthful. Transparency in promotional communications is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the business and upholding legal and ethical...
Read moreIs very interesting to come back to a place that I have not been in a while. I have had great and I'll standing service and from every available tools prior to this particular point which makes me very sad about the way it is going. I've been going to Jersey Mike's since it has arrived in Hemet California but this last incident has turned me away and is made me very angry over the way I was treated and disrespected by your team ran by manager Marissa. Also spending $104.45 on the number of sandwiches totalling 7 in total she thought it was okay to take one of our sandwiches that was supposed to go with us and go to a a person who came after us in the store. And how bad was this, the person who received the sandwich was quite upset that they had served her prior to our order which came before hers she was quite polygenic and quite upset about the whole entire incident considering that we've been waiting in the store for over 5 minutes for sandwiches and that this manager decided to take one of our sandwiches away to give to her so she can leave. She was quite upset your cameras were proved my point. I do not care for nor endorsed spending over $100 at your restaurant going to have people that came after us to be served first before we have been served. It was a bad decision is bad management and the way your manager Marissa tried to handle the situation was even far worse. Considering I have never had a problem with the management team nor individuals in the store before. But I see things have changed dramatically to make me want to think that why should I give you the business if you're going to give me business just by trying to fill out a simple order. And to make me think that this has something to do with the way we look or the color of my skin makes me feel even worse about this subject because it mean with your camera to prove it this is what has happened somebody of anglo European descent ordered after us and that order was more important than the two veterans that served this country was more important who happened to be black. And since your manager did not know how to handle the problem correctly which indeed makes this whole thing even worse than what it is. If you had a problem with the person on the grill out of the seven people working in the store you should have seen another person back to the grill to help that person kick out the orders very simple managing decision that she decided not to do. Which caused this problem to happen in the disrespect of another Patron coming in apologizing to us because she saw that the Injustice of your company. I understand that this will go down with no result or action being done but I just feel better let you know exactly what happened on August 25th 2019 around 1:54 p.m. after we already given them a 20% tipping butter sandwich work. Read moreFor the money i would go elsewhere. Being a native New Yorker I know deli food, this falls well short of the mark. We ordered 2 phillys and a chicken parm from the website with no pictures of the food. the chicken was tough, the gravy was extremely bland as in no herbs or spices got waved at the tomato base bland and the provolone may as well have been any other generic white cheese. The phillys weren't much better, the bread selections were reversed, and the rolls themselves were way to large for the amount of filling they put in, making all the sandwiches extremely dry. One of the phillys even had extra meat and babyfood bland chipotle mayo and was still dry and under filled. For $15+ on one sandwich i expect the meat to be falling out of the roll. The bread choices leave a lot to be desired, white or wheat thats it... Now i know this isn't my neighborhood deli right next to the baker getting fresh at 4am but still a little more choice would go a long way. The toppings are also rather limited, nothing with any real heat pepper wise not even pepperochinis in a togo cup. Is it better than subway? meh its a wash. The quality of the meat is better, i liked the cold case and cut on the fly meats which subway does not do, but the variety of menu is just not there. Not hot and sweet peppers for my philly was a real disappointment. The wife called up to let them know they had gotten the order wrong and got a very lackadaisical response. so all around bottom line pretty...
