McDonald's — Restaurant in Hemet

My daughter and I were at the Walmart store on South Sanderson this morning. While waiting for our eye exam we walked over to McDonald's for a Happy Meal and coffee. While having coffee and waiting for our meal I see a McDonald's employee handling trash without gloves on. So I went over to the store manager a young man named Christopher and I suggested to him that she should probably have gloves on while doing that. His exact reply to me and I quote here in was well she's not handling your food so she doesn't need gloves. So I just thought to myself okay... And I just went back to my table and sat down and waited for our food. Shortly after that I spotted the same McDonald's employee with a Turkish towel in her hand wiping down all the surfaces in the dining room still no gloves on didn't wash your hands after touching the trash with no gloves. At that point Armijo came I picked up the meal threw it away and left there was no way I was letting my daughter eat at that table that was wiped down buy a woman with bacteria from the trash can on her hands and now on the towel she is cleaning the entire dining room with. Hopefully I will be able to add the video to this review if not there will be stills but without the video you just can't get the complete reality of it all I was disgusted I almost threw up in my mouth. When I mentioned something to the manager about that he just gave me his name on a napkin and said if you don't like the service here you can call corporate and he said it with a smart-ass little attitude what a complete Punk. I know it is a fast food place, but service could be kinder. ( I love MacD. And so I enjoy going to all the different locations and compare experiences) this one in Hemet could be cleaner and the service could be friendlier. They forgot to add my drinks and I was told with a "tone" that she will work on it. After I had to correct her about which drink I had ordered. For those 2 reasons, I gave 2 stars less. Though it is not a "fancy" restaurant, but a fast eat and go place. We are paying customers and it is not given to us for free. When I eat at MacD with my family (of 8) I pay around $120.-- I do this once a month for the kids. Yesterday I was there with only my daughter and spent $23.--

The food was well prepared and the fries and double quarter...

What seemed like a shift manager, muscle man with polo shirt, was on his phone and touching multiple food items all at the same time. He will bag food and the pull out his phone and touch fries and burgers over and over. This man should be setting an example for the team if he is a lead. He seemed addicted to his phone and i am sure he is on his phone when he is using toilet. He had no globes and never washed his hands. No one told him he should not do that so that culture is there at that location. 20 plus years ago when i worked with food and did my food handdlers card that is not how we did things. I will not go there again because preping food with phone on hand...
