Carl’s Jr. — Restaurant in Henderson

In the last 3 months I have been to this location 3 times. I don't eat fast food on a regular but there are times when I work late, sick with Covid, and can't make myself dinner and this location is very close to my home. In November 2021 I was craving a flame broiled burger so I went to this location knowing Carl's Jr has great burgers. I ordered a cheeseburger in the drive thru and was quickly told "we don't have any tomato or Pickles and we only have Shredded lettuce... the reason I went there was for the fresh produce on my burger. No thanks. So I went across the street to Farmer Boys and they didn't disappoint. My 2nd trip in 3 months was December 2021. I ordered their "new handbreaded tenders with their new sweet/hot sauce". I was told they ran out of cups and would put the sauce on top of the tenders. Fine... well, that was not as expected. Only some of the tenders had sauce and yep, another disappointment. By the way, I've had Carl's handbreaded tenders at other locations, these are not the same recipe. Tonight was my 3rd trip in 3 months. I went thru the drive thru ordered 5 handbreaded tenders and asked if their new sauce was on the side... nope. Still no small cups. When I asked the kid at the window he said they have been asking for cups for a month. I was given my order in a HUGE bag this time, its only a small fry and tenders, and away I drove. As I drove the short 5 min the disgusting smell of old fry oil permiated my truck. When I got home tenders were not cooked enough, barely any breading, and for a napkin I had what was clearly a white generic paper towels from the handwashing station. The kids that work there are very nice. I smell financial trouble for this owner. This is surprising to me because all thru covid lock downs til now there is always cars at the drive thru and ppl in the dining room. I for one will no longer spend my money here. 3...

James took my friend’s order Thursday night ( July 11th) after she got off work. She ordered 3 burgers, 2 Zucchini, coke light ice and Fruit Loops Donuts. When she got home, in the bag were 3 burgers, one order of Zucchini, and a coke with too much ice. We were missing our other Zucchini and Donuts. We didn’t want to drive back because of the time. So we called to pick it up the next day ( July 12th ). We decided to order some food as well as picking up food items that were missing the night prior. My friend recognized James and informed me he was the one who took her order. He had poor customer service. Didn’t greet us at the window. The minute we pulled up to the window, he had us wait 3 minutes without greeting us or taking our money. I understand that he may be busy bagging our order or constantly picking things up off the ground, but he could have at least greeted us instead of glancing at us and then walking away.

His station was a MESS! He had his personal drinks on the soda machine. I was disgusted! He seemed to have lacked personal hygiene and gave our bag without a smile or word.

I definitely did NOT like...

If could give this place LESS than a 1, I would. I've gone here TWO separate times, and it says they're open. I went around 7:30pm once, and the other around 8pm. Both times, NOBODY was in there. Sign said OPEN, hours at the door was open.. but nobody was there! We went to the drive thru first, waited, tried to say hello, honked the horn quite a few times, then drove to the window and honked the horn there. Nobody. We parked and noticed that there was this car parked right where Stephanie St is facing. Probably someone who worked inside who thought they'd just sit outside. We parked and went down, doors were locked. Mind you, this is two separate dates and times we went. Same thing happened. Another time it was actually opened, we ordered online and they didn't actually give us the combo fish sandwich. They gave the fries and the drink, but they said we had to buy the sandwich separately. We were like, we bought the meal on the app?? We ended up having to pay it again because they wouldn't make it for us until we did. We even showed them the receipt and they still denied us....
