Don Tortaco Mexican Grill #18 — Restaurant in Henderson

Having grown up in Northern TX, then moving to Southern CA later on, I've had lots of good Mexican food. So I'm picky!! I've been in Vegas for 15 mos, I've tried a few places, they were ok. Today I had an hour between my shifts, I was in the mood for Mexican food, and I was in luck by location! I went to store #8, on Wigwam. I have a test I've discovered that hasn't failed me yet, I get a plate with beans and rice. If the cook takes time to prepare common food in a flavorful way, such as beans and rice, I know the entree will be really good too. I tasted the rice, wow, tasty and perfectly prepared! Light and fluffy too! Beans were flavorful also. I'm a green salsa kind of person, but today, I found a very good red salsa!! Muy sabroso! i am never going here again. every SINGLE TIME I GO HERE they mess up my order. i order no pico & make it clear 5 times that i want no pico in it & they STILL PUT PICO IN IT. i order a different meat & they don’t put it in there, my burrito didnt even come with guacamole & it somehow ended up in there still!!!! i have to drive all the way back there for them to replace my order & tonight (after going back in & nicely explaining what i wanted again) i get home & it is STILL WRONG. i don’t get what it so hard about making a california burrito with no pico!!!!!!!!!! they didn’t apologize, they gave me an attitude & looked at me stupid when i was just trying to be nice after them messing up my order for the 10th time. i don’t leave reviews because they are pointless but boom here’s my first...
