Foods good but service sucks.. The food alone is good but the price is a little high for the portion you get though.
I waited at the box to have my order taken for about 5 mins, okay, not a big deal, then they don't even get my order right and thankfully I asked when I got to the window. Then after sitting at the window for another 5 mins they ask me to pull forward because my food is still cooking. This was on top of the 10 mins I spent between ordering and even getting to the window. They tell me it's only gonna be another 5 mins, fine, so I park and it ends up taking another 15, then I didn't get any sauce at all and it was supposed to come with the hot honey sauce and I asked for Ghost pepper jelly, I didn't get either.
And while I'm waiting I watched about 3 cars go through the drive thru with food. Another car was waiting next to me and both our orders came out at the same and theirs was 3 times the size of mine. Makes me wonder, did our food finish at the same time or did one of our orders sit under a heat lamp waiting for the other so they only had to walk outside once?
Then she tells me that they threw in 2 extra pieces for the wait, I ordered a 5 piece and there was only 5 pieces in the box, not super pissed but don't say you gave me something you didn't. Oh and no napkins either. So a 35 min wait for 5 pieces of chicken, some fries and a biscuit and no sauce.
Seriously, go to Raising Caine's if you're in the area or another popeyes if you want Popeye's. Caine's is across the light with better service and equally good food, plus Caine's gives you way bigger portions for the same money if not less.
Was gonna give this place 2 stars but that's 2 too many regardless of how good the food is the service...

Manager was running around yelling at her employees to not have sandwiches in sight of customers in lobby. Lady right in front of me had just ordered one and paid. Employee told her he was going to get yelled at because he is only allowed to sell those to drive thru customers. Gives her the sandwich and she leaves. Manager comes in and grabs all sandwiches in the basket ready to go and slams them all behind the counter and continues her rampage on yelling at employees not to have sandwiches where customers can see them. I go to order a sandwich and he says those that are ready are only for drive thru customers and it'll take two hours because the rest of them are frozen. I ask is it company policy and he replies no it's our managers policy. I ask for corporate phone number and he grabs manager in training to assist. Manager in training tells me there is no phone number to call but him and employees apologize saying they don't agree with it but it's what they are made to do. Congratulations on worst managed store I've ever encountered. Super annoyed and this should have been handled way better. I had to work and only had a couple minutes to grab food so my employee could leave their shift and i would be on my own so i couldn't leave to get...
Read moreWay too many of the orders were wrong. As we were waiting for our order, customer after customer kept returning to the counter because their orders were wrong. My husband's order was wrong as well. But, we already knew that we had to check our orders carefully because so many others were wrong as well. I went to that location on a previous visit, and my to go order was wrong. I ordered spicy chicken and received regular. I looked at the order before I left the restaurant and could tell that it wasn't spicy chicken. I informed the counter employee that my chicken wasn't spicy. She looked at it and said it was. When I got home and took my first bite, it indeed was not spicy. I was not a happy camper, especially since I had brought it to the employee's attention that it wasn't what I ordered. They offered to replace the entire meal for free upon my next visit within 30 days. That was fine; however, I didn't receive what I ordered in the first place and even brought it to their attention, but that employee thought the knew better than what I was seeing.
