Joe's NY Pizza — Restaurant in Henderson

One day I decided to stop in for lunch, I’m always trying out new places and on the hunt for great pizza! My first time in I was greeted by a very energetic and friendly lady, Jessica. She makes you feel at home. The $10 lunch special is a good deal, two slices and a drink is hard to beat! The pizza was great, I tried Pepperoni and Cheese. Definitely top of my list of pizza out here in Vegas/Henderson.

When I was done eating Jessica come over to ask how things were. I asked if she was the owner, and she said no! I was shocked! She had “owner energy” about her. She was always busy doing something, helping customers, ringing them up, bringing their food, checking on them, etc.. She even brought one lady who had a little trouble walking her drink. I came in when Jessica wasn't there, while friendly, nobody else was doing that. It’s VERY rare to see an employee care so much and have such passion for their work. Most places they stand round like they don’t care and don’t want to be there.

It was refreshing to see, and Jessica’s vibes make the place even better. She makes it a more personal experience and goes above and beyond. Seriously, never lose her! She is amazing and it's rare to see somebody who cares like her!

I’ve been in 4 times in a week since discovering the place. I might have a problem 😂. But hey, being hooked to great pizza and vibes isn’t really a problem, now is it?

Oh and I like the décor. I really like the metal plates hanging up on the wall...

I hate giving bad reviews but honestly this was the worst delivery experience ever. Ordered pizzas and drinks for an employee lunch at work. The order was made at 12:30. The delivery driver didn’t wander up to the place until around 2:10-2:15 — They took nearly two hours to deliver just TWO pizzas.. The delivery address was just like 10 minutes from the restaurant so that makes no sense. There was no tracking, no communication with the driver whatsoever. I called the restaurant to figure out what was going on. They don’t use Uber Eats drivers, they use their own driver and the lady claimed it takes 45 minutes to deliver, but the entire ordeal took close to 2 hours.

Asked for napkins, didn’t get napkins Asked for a pizza with sausage ONLY and got a Pepperoni/sausage pizza..

We paid close to $80 for 2 pizzas and an order of chicken tenders and the pizza was awful. The chicken tenders were just fine, but honestly anyone can air fry a frozen pack of chicken tenders, and I’m disappointed that the only thing that tasted good from this place was something that they probably didn’t actually make.

It seems petty to complain because it’s just pizza, but paying around $80 for two cold pizzas that were made wrong and that took 2 hours to arrive seems a tad overpriced for less-than-great service and food.

What a great experience!! Soon as We walked through the front door we were greeted by I believe her name was Morgan, and let us know right away what the lunch specials were, I was thinking wow, that was refreshing! It seems like most places we visit these days, You’re lucky if you can get anyone to even acknowledge you when you walk through the front door, let alone tell you what the lunch specials are. While we were enjoying our lunch, some guys that were checking the fire alarm system came in, and Morgan, went above and beyond to accommodate these guys during their lunchtime rush. I was sitting within earshot and could hear the conversation, and I’m thinking in the back of my mind I would be pissed if this was my place of business and these guys are in here during lunch hour, while I’m trying to make a living and wanting, to test out the fire alarms, But that didn’t phase her. As these guys were leaving, she asked if they were gonna be working in the area for a little while and when they were done to come by for a free slice of pizza!! To say the least I was very impressed with her attitude and how she handled everything going on!! Keep up the good work!! This will definitely, be one of our lunch stops ...
