I moved to the 7 hills/horizon ridge area about 8 months ago and have been to the Kopper Keg 2 or 3 times, I live within a mile of the bar and I've spaced my visits out hoping that the bartenders would be different, unfortunately that is not the case. Last night 9/18/17 i went to the bar again and once again witnessed horrible service. I was, watching monday night football, playing keno and having drinks, at the end of the football game i had $5 left in the machine, when i pressed the cash out button the bartenders refused to bring me my money, finally when i was able to ask the small petite blonde bartender why she wouldn't bring me my money she responded by saying very loudly and rudely that its $5 dollars and kept pointing to the machine saying it's only $5 dollars, she finally walked away still not giving me my money. It was not the money i was after, i was planning on leaving a $20 after i received my $5 because i only had a $10 and $20 dollar bill on me, I was not going to leave that because I thought the service was good but rather because I thought it was fair , so i left $10 against my better judgement to go along with the $5 that they automatically assumed they should receive for there're sub par, childish and rude behavior. I do not know the small, blonde haired female bartenders name but she displayed the most disgusting side of people service skills I've ever seen, I realize a lot of these people are only there for the money and have to put up with a lot of inappropriate behavior but to behave like a cockroach is unacceptable . If people inquire about the Kopper Keg I will tell them truthfully of the experience that i've had there and encourage them to stay away until the filth is removed. ...
Read moreIt pains me to write this review. I've been coming to this place regularly since 2012. I'm disappointed to say I've had my last visit. The service here has gone downhill so bad that I can't justify spending another dollar here when there is great service available nearby.
My final visit, I lost 100 gambling. When I went to leave I was handed a $36 bar tab. For 6 beers. Mind you, my girlfriend and I only had 5 beers between us. So not only were we not comped, we were overcharged. What?? When I inquired, the bartender said she couldn't remember whether we had 5 or 6, so she opted to just charge the higher price, let alone nothing comped.
On top of that, we asked for a food menu and though the menu was delivered promptly, the server didn't come around the entire 30 minutes we sat there waiting. We even asked to have our order taken and no one came.
This unfortunately is not new. This has happened twice here in the last 60 days. It's the first time I've left less than a $20 tip at a gaming bar. Enjoy the two bucks; it's the last money of mine you'll ever see. Remedy's, Fire Side, B.A.R., and Winchells, I look forward to seeing...
Read moreAfter several times of walking out of the Keg in the past due to not being able to get a drink, I decided to give them another chance on the first day back. After all, they did text me announcing there re-opening. Im saddened to say that nothing has changed. There were 8 people in the bar when I walked in. All the available video games (6) had reserved signs on them. I wanted to ask the server what that meant but walked out again after standing at the bar for 5 minutes listening to her intense conversation with a customer about currant events. To be fair, I dont know if she intentionally ignored me or had to clue I was there. Either way, the result was the same, I left. After my experience I drove down the street and reluctantly walked into Cactus Jacks. What a difference. I was immediately acknowledged, served a beer with a smile and felt welcomed. I have a budget of $600/week to meet with friends at nearby bars to enjoy a few cold ones and try our luck on video poker. Unfortunately, this will no longer happen at the closest bar to my...
