My wife and I are by no means experts on tacos but we’ve had a few here in Henderson in the past year and we both agree these have great flavor and are on the top of our list for authentic Carne Asada tacos. Had the Mexican style burrito with rice and beans and they went a little heavy with the rice portion of ingredients.
Tacos - Tortillas are the smaller type tortillas and lightly oiled to keep them from falling apart. We don’t mind dry tortillas or super greasy tortillas so these seemed just about right. Steak has nice flavor and they top them with cilantro and onions which was great.
Burrito - was probably a little smaller than a standard water bottle but still a good size. It was packed with rice but there was still a decent amount of steak/Carne Asada in there. We love refried beans with flavor and these were just whole pinto beans. Not a bad or a good thing but there’s nothing better than tasty refried beans in a burrito. Overall I think all the rice in the burrito made it a little dry but they give you sauce which I used to moisten and flavor it up a little.
Ask for green and red sauce. Red sauce was my favorite. A little spicy but not too bad. Not oily like some places. Green sauce has a nice cilantro flavor to it and it’s not very spicy. My wife was more partial to the green sauce.
We’ve had Tacos El Gordo, Roberto’s, Guadalajara, and Santa Rosa tacos. Mas Takos are our favorite so far. Not knocking the others but these are #1...
Read moreI found this amazing restaurant early last month when I was craving tacos al pastor and omg I have been coming here once a week ever since. Today, I went there twice to have breakfast then dinner.
Being 5 months pregnant has given me very particular cravings and I can’t stop eating their food. I am in love with the Al pastor tacos, they are not only affordable but super tasty and delicious with their two salsas (green and red).
For breakfast, I have tried their breakfast burrito with chorizo and scrambled eggs which comes with potatoes on the side and salsa. I have also tried their amazing chilaquiles with scrambled eggs and chicken. You can eat chilaquiles for breakfast, lunch or dinner!
I have also had their potato tacos which are yummy and paired them with some Mexican style corn which was sooo yummy 😋
For drinks I have had their Aguas Frescas, Jamaica and Lemonade and for dessert, I’ve had their tres leches cake 🍰
This place is amazing and their customer service is excellent. I have gotten food to go through drive through every time and can say they never disappoint.
Just wanted to thank the staff for always satisfying my cravings during this special time in my life. Keep up the...
Read moreTERRIBLE FIRST IMPRESSION! I was excited to see this new place across the street. I tried them today for the first time and used the drive-thru since my lunch break is only 30 minutes. I was SOOOOOO mad at how they screwed up my order and had no receipt with a number to call to let them know. I wasted my money and my time, with nothing I could do about it. I definitely won't return and I will let everyone know about my bad experience. the only thing they got right was my chilequilles, but it was HORRIBLE - just soggy chips with beans! AND they don't even give me a fork to eat it with? also, no napkins. I didn't get any of the salsa I ordered. they gave me the wrong kind of tacos and forgot my corn. WOW!!!!!!! I haven't been this upset about an order in a long time. this place SUCKS! If this is how they do things, they won't be around long. I regret even giving...
