I do not eat at Panera Bread often at all. I would give the staff 5 stars, but the reason why I did not, was because I wasn't warned about their Strawberry Mint "Charged" Lemonade. I am 9 months pregnant and luckily, overall healthy. I had no idea what the "charged" meant on the lemonade. I saw it was under the "tea" category and I can have some teas, but the last thing I thought was that it was apparently a highly caffeinated beverage to the degree that a couple of people died from it. I don't know the details, but I know I was extremely scared after drinking it. I brought up my concern to the manager (they were nice. again, everyone was nice, but the fact that there wasn't a warning on the menu or the fact an employee failed to explain what it was is the part I'm very upset about). There was a sign that was halfway behind the glass where they sell their pastries that I did not see because I didn't order a pastry. I don't go somewhere to dine, only to look for signs of potentially dangerous food/drink. It is very evident that I'm pregnant. Very very evident and the cashier did not even warn me about this drink. They assured me that they changed the dosage of the charged lemonade, but it's beyond scary that you guys don't have a warning sign on the menu itself when you walk in to order. The manager offered to refund my meal, but I denied the offer. It's not about the money. Don't sell potentially deadly drinks unless you put a warning sign ON YOUR MENU. Don't make you customers fish to find a warning sign. That's so ridiculous. I do not even blame the employees so much because it shouldn't be their responsibility to deny or warn customers about a drink that PANERA BREAD folk created. I don't want any compensation because I don't want to eat there again. Imagine if someone lost their baby during their pregnancy over a stupid, hyper-caffeinated drink that lacked a simple warning sign BY THE DRINK ITSELF ON THE MENU. Not your employees fault. It isn't their fault and should not be their responsibility to warn everyone...
Read moreMy wife made an online order. I went in myself to pick it up for her. I walked by two employees that were sweeping and cleaning tables. I walked by an employee at the cash register helping a lady and then went back to where they make the food. There I thought i was going to be picked up because I have never been there before. The two people in the back that we're cooking food didn't even raise their heads to look at me until I said hello a little sarcastically. Finally one looked up and said hello to me I asked for my wife's order and they said did you check the counter? Again first time ever being there I said no I didn't know that. They then pointed towards the front door. I walk towards the front door I saw a counter with my wife's order. A gentleman walked up to me as he was getting a cup holder for somebody else and I had asked him if there was a place to write reviews whether it was online or website he said he believed that Panera Bread had an app but he wasn't sure but then he said also on Google Maps so I said great I use Google Maps quite often. He asked me what was wrong I advised him that I had walked past five employees and not one single person acknowledge me or even said hello he said I am sorry and just straight turn around and walked away from me. Not a good start for my first time there normally somebody would say I am sorry about that and then please let me get a manager so they can speak with you not just straight turn around and walk away and have that be the end of their conversation with their customer. If I could I would give no stars but it's the only way I can provide a review for this Panera Bread I will now tell my wife to never...
Read moreHonestly, if I could give less then one star, I would. This is the WORST Panera in Nevada, really...Thr worst one I have ever been to. I love Panera and spend just about every days lunch money there. The last 4 out of 8 times that I have ordered for Rapid pick up, the order has been WRONG. Kim, the manager is so unprofessional and rude, it is unbelievable. I can't even imagine Panera allowing someone to speak to customers. She is a horrible leader, as she is teaching her employees to be argumentive and disrespectdul. I will NEVER spend money there again. Not because my order is wrong 50% of the time. Not because the service is incredibly slow and there is absolutely NO sense of urgency at lunchtime when people don't have a whole lot of time to eat and get back to work. Not because the place is usually a mess. All of those things are very true, but can be overlooked when you order take out if the food is good. Aside from the time that my chicken on my salad was stuck together in a solid FROZEN ball, it is usually good. That's if you don't count them not making my salad correctly...But with a salad, I can pick out the wontons that I am ALLERGIC to and instructed them not to add. I mean It is a salad...So how bad can they screw up. So it's really not my order being wrong 50% of the time, really. It is because the manager is so disrespectful, condescending, rude and does so with a disengenuious "Im sorry" through her smug smirk. What's more is that she doesn't VALUE a customer that spends $250-300 a month in the resturaunt. Go to any other Panera in Henderson, you will get better...
