I have been going to the Silverado Ranch location for many years and LOVE the employees and the tea. Until now. Two trips ago, I went in and asked politely for no ice and the woman behind the counter, whom I had never interacted with before very rudely in a scornful voice said there would be an upcharge of $0.75. I asked when that was changed as I had never been charged before and she said it wasn't her fault that they had not followed the rules before. She was very rude about it. I said ok and bought the drink. Then I came in yesterday and she was at the register again. I ordered a custom drink, green tea base with peach and rose and a half scoop of matcha, light ice. Ive never been charged extra for more flavor and always been charged the same price of $6.75 for the 32oz, well she charged me $8.75 and when asked politely why, rudely in a mocking voice said that it was an upcharge for less ice and the matcha and extra flavor as I made a custom drink. She was EXTREMELY rude about it and made me feel very uncomfortable and upset. I will not be treated like a child that is acting out when all I did was ask nicely for an explanation of cost. Due to this incident, I may never go back again. At least not to that location. It is the most convenient one but I refuse to be treated that way. I get cracking down on rules but there is no reason to be rude to customers. If that is how they wish to treat us then I will happily go elsewhere for my tea! Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer of this boba tea spot for a while now, and it’s unfortunate that I need to share my recent negative experience. I ordered my regular, a peanut butter banana with boba, which is usually delicious. However, the first drink I received was thick and chunky, and another employee noticed it and had it remade. The second drink had a white creamer-like liquid added, which is not normal for this drink, and the taste was completely off.
Seeking to provide feedback, I reviewed the website and found their headquarters listed at the Water Street location. I spoke with Nyla and asked if there was a corporate contact for feedback. She suggested leaving an online review, which I felt wouldn’t be constructive for resolving the issue. After speaking with someone else, she gave me a phone number for a manager, who then informed me she wasn’t the manager of that store. When I asked for a corporate contact, she said she would text me, but I never received any follow-up.
Unfortunately, it seems that as this business has grown, maintaining customer service and product consistency has become a struggle. I’m open to discussing my experience directly with someone from the company to help...
Read moreI just returned from getting 2 large bobas. One was a large watermelon pineapple with rainbow jelly. Well its very tasty. Tastes just like watermelon, I'm pretty sure its lacking pineapple. I can't taste any and I had 2 family members taste it and they couldn't taste it either. And there is no jelly in it. Just a tad aggravated. The other part of my order was a large peanut butter banana with coffee jelly and boba. That drink was correct. This location is not as nice as the one over by the galleria mall. The staff at that location blows this one out of the water. The store is dimly lit and the staff are not as friendly as the other location After you place your order and pay they tell you to go outside and wait they will bring it to you. I waited about 8 mins for my 2 drinks out in the heat. They to find out the order wasn't correct. I will not go back to this location even if it is close to the house. Between the dark dingy store to the not so friendly staff and the screwed up order. They lost my business. So if you change it and go here try your boba before heading home or you could end up like me with a $15 tab and a incorrect beverage. Go to the galleria its 5 star service...
