Wow! We called in for a large Pizza at 10:30PM on Tuesday Night. We literally live right down the street from Pizza Hut so you would think it wouldn't take that long. Every time we have ordered from Pizza Hut, it usually comes in about 30 minutes or so. Not this time! This time was a big joke! We waited till 11:50PM for the Pizza. During that hour and 20 minutes, We wondered what was taking so long for it. So at around 11:20 we called to see what was going on. The employee (who was nice) stated that it was coming. So we said okay! Another 20 minutes go by and at this point, it's really ridiculous! Called again and some rude woman answered the phone and just told us "It's on its way." Which isn't a problem, but she just had a bad attitude and it was if, we where bothering her. Anyways, Pizza arrived 10 minutes later and we asked the delivery guy "Busy night huh?" His response was that he had been the ONLY delivery driver since 4:30PM. He had a great attitude unlike that woman and was apologetic about the whole wait time, but a Pizza Chain that big and they had him as the ONLY delivery guy since 4:30? I definitely understand it with everything that is going on, but ONE delivery guy? Come on! The owners just want to make all the money for themselves and have one or two employee's working. Anyways, Once we started eating, we realized that the pizza was uncut and someone forgot to do it so we had to pull it apart. It turned into a bit of a mess. Thanks Pizza Hut! That was terrible customer service. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that in between those periods to find out where our pizza was, they didn't even pick up the phone two or three times. The customer service here is horrible they leave their customers in the front and hide in the back looking through the privacy glass (I can see you) for 15 mins or more. I placed my order and 5mins later had an emergency and had to leave so I requested a refund, they yelled to the back "stop that order" and said I can't do refunds let me get the manager lady. He went to the back and I could hear him arguing with the manager lady and she was telling him to tell me no and what for, very unprofessional. He came back and said she'll be up in a minute. 15mins later she came up and said no refunds dispute it with your bank, I told her I bought food and didn't receive anything I have a right to my money you guys are stealing money from me, she refused and said take it up with your bank and walked away. What company policy is this? This is one of the worst managers I've ever seen. So know I'm trying to go through my bank which is very inconvenient. I placed an order for 2 medium up to 5 topping pizzas online today at 12:40 for delivery. I spend around 32$ after fees and tip. This pizza hut location is only 6min from my apartment, I have two sick kids at home who were hungry and I am exhausted so I ordered pizza. My delivery was outsourced to door dash and the driver apparently didn't have a thermal delivery box because my order arrived ice cold like leftovers. As expensive as food is today one of the reasons I ordered through Pizza Hut and not door dash in the first place is because I want hot food not leftovers. Who wants to spend over 30$ on pizza to get cold leftovers I could have had Papa Murphy's or even 7/11 pizza for a fraction of the price and fresher quality. Maybe don't outsource to DD or at least make sure the deliverer has a thermal box so people get the food they pay for. Note that my food took over an hour to get here and the dasher took 30min riding around with my food sitting in their car with no thermal box to get to me when I only live 6min away. I called to complain and apparently the person on the phone is going to credit my account but I don't see how that is possible since she didn't even ask for my information before she hung up the phone.
