I’ve told myself to stop ordering from this location because of the fact everytime I do, they mess up my order. But today I so badly wanted Roberto’s and caved; I ordered through Uber eats and got the carne asada fries, and a chicken taco. I put in the app at least 3x that I wanted green sauce (of course, absolutely no sauce but very very warm carrots, questionable?). Upon opening everything the portion for the fries was literally laughable, never in my life have I seen such a small portion of carne asada fries from them, cheese not melted, no sour cream either and hardly any toppings, more beans than ANYTHING, they also decided to give me a chicken burrito instead which if you know how they cook that chicken specifically, it has bell peppers, but they were still crunchy! Not to mention the size of the burrito was as small as a burrito I could’ve got from Taco Bell. Also I’m pretty sure when you bite into a burrito it’s not supposed to just be sopping wet?
When I called to complain they tried to argue with me and tell me that that’s what I ordered and then turned around and blamed it on Uber that they didn’t receive the correct order, on top of that they blamed my poor Uber eats driver for the reason I didn’t get my green sauce because out of all the people I could hear in the background, not one person thought to make sure sauce was included which is a huge factor when you get Mexican food! At one point I heard someone laugh at how frustrated I was which is infuriating because, again, this is not my first issue with this location in particular. I used to work in the same plaza and very regularly would order breakfast burritos and they would always give me raw potatoes in it. I understand you would like to get the customers/food in and out but that comes at a cost for the quality of food. I KNEW I should’ve just paid extra to get Fausto’s, at least they make sure everything tastes good and is prepared correctly.
They did offer to remake the order but I’m not able to just run up there which is why I ordered delivery, the guy promised to remember my name to comp me something next time I come in but that doesn’t make me feel too great as if I’ve gotta worry now that my food might be messed with if they have to remember my name.
Wasted money, and time. Never ordering from this location again, they’re lucky if I order from a Roberto’s EVER again. I truly feel the service and food has gone downhill with this company. You’re better off going to Rivas, Don Tortaco, Fausto’s or literally any other Mexican food shop...
Read moreAbsolutely the WORST Roberto’s I’ve ever visited. What a waste, $30 dollars straight down the drain. We went in on 5/7; I felt so bad for the girl working. She was all alone and had 8 separate orders sitting in the lobby waiting for food. He make coworker was sitting in the office (I’m not sure what he was doing) but she kept running back to ask for help to which he ignored her. Long story short- I placed my order at 8:32pm. We sat and waiting along with each of the 8 other orders and slowly the poor girl started preparing all of our orders alone. She went straight from the cash register and office running, to cooking- no washing of her hands. Finally after 35 minutes the male cook came out to FINALLY help. I’m not going to speak for everyone else; for us, we waited for an HOUR. An HOUR for a bean and cheese burrito and chimichanga. We literally didn’t get our food until 9:37pm. Mind you, I watched her make my burrito at 9pm. It’s sat on the counter for almost 40 minutes before the chimichanga was done. It was ice cold by the time we got our hand on it. Again- for $30 there should have been some sort of apology. There were zero apologies, no refunds and no customer service. MANAGEMENT NEEDS TO DO BETTER. hire more people. Take care of your establishment. I blame YOU Martha, the owner, for this awful awful experience. I’m truly disappointed and disgusted. Never ever come to...
Read moreI ordered online from the Mt Vista/Sunset loc. and Uber eats picked up my order and delivered it to my house, Exceptionally prompt I must add. I opened the bag and noticed one of the items were missing, the Cheese Quesadilla. I called the Shop and a woman told me we don’t have delivery, I tried telling her Uber eats picks up orders...this went on for a bit, she didn’t understand what I was talking about. I’m surprised she didn’t just hang up on me, because she genuinely didn’t know, poor girl. Well finally a man gets on the phone, I explain my dilemma, and he says, everything i ordered was put in the bag! I tell him sorry but it wasn’t, was there two bags? No, I make sure everything in the order is bagged. He didn’t believe me, and he was totally rude and argumentative! I knew I was getting nowhere fast, with this conversation. I was actually at a loss for words after hearing his response! I just told him “You know, you do bad business!” And hung up! I don’t exactly know what I was expecting to be done to resolve their mistake. But I certainly didn’t expect to called a liar. Unfortunate because I love their food. I won’t eat at that location again, thank goodness there is 100 more locations around town to go to! And thank you,...
