Like most Roberto's there are strengths and weaknesses depending on the location you're eating at. This location makes good rolled tacos, regular tacos and carne asada burritos enchiladas and salads. They really suffer when it comes to refried beans, rice and anything with breakfast potatoes in it. The refried beans are much dryer and saltier then they should be. The rice is not fluffy and soft and Lacks the nice flavor of traditional Mexican rice. If you order a breakfast burrito that has potatoes in it the potatoes are often hard or only partially cooked. Basically I only order tacos, rolled tacos and burritos that have no rice or beans. Their lack of attention to detail on the rice and beans forces me to stay away from any combination plates and order things a la carte. There green and red salsa is pretty good and they usually keep lemons, onions and jalapenos well-stocked. If I wanted to go all out and eat a combination meal I will drive further down the road to the Roberto's on Green Valley and Horizon Ridge Parkway near the AutoZone they have nailed everything as far as quality. I have never gotten sick at this location and it is very close to my home so I come here often just now ordering beans and rice or...
Read moreGot a large breakfast burrito with rice beans and guac on my way home from work. Dine in , they are all very friendly but I'm so tired that I can barely understand what they say, they laugh it off and we all have a good time of it. They are very accepting of me deciding what I'm getting and are never impatient or rude. I think a lot of the negative reviews you see are caused by doordash and other delivery providers who don't force workers to package products well and take direct routes (unless you pay extra!) and in general the longer some of this food sits the less good it gets. I've never been upset with the quality of the meat or anything like people prior have suggested, and I've gone here 10+ times after work and will likely continue to. Prices are reasonable, it's not mcdonald's dollar menu cheap for most things but you get what you pay for. The burrito, especially with the additional stuff in it I request, is pretty big , for most people, it's two meals.
Tl;dr no complaints from me, on par with any other Roberto's I've gone to &...
Read moreVery rude staff.
Asked about "smothered" fries and explained it was fries with green chili on them since they didn't know. I've got it at Roberto's many times. I explained it's similar to their carne asada fries without the best. They told me that at my time in the history of Roberto's have they ever made any type of smothered fries or burritos(just green chili or red chilli) and that I could not get that there.
How hard is it to put green chili or even red chilli on a burrito? They have many things there with chili on them but said they do not serve that there. I was really looking forward to having Roberto's again after moving back but it looks like I'll have to find an entirely new Mexican place now. I really liked this place before but with how rude the staff are and how they treat you it isn't worth it now that they also don't seem to...
