I was so excited to try this place so one day I ordered all my usual Thai favorites for pick up. I went in to pick up and upon entering there is a front table but it’s empty I then curiously made my way to the back of the restaurant to find someone who didn’t greet me first which I thought was off but anyway I greeted her and told her I was there for pick up. She handed me the food and didn’t say thank you or anything.
The food was great! I didn’t even think about the fact that the service sucked picking up. Everything was so delicious so I was definitely going back!
Fast forward 1 month later. I had been craving ever since I first tried but this time I wanted to dine in. I walk in and again I see nobody in the front but there were other people waiting looking at menus so I decided to do the same. 10 min later nobody came and I decided I’ll come another day.
Still thinking about how good the food was it was on my mind to go back so yesterday I had extra time and I walk in to sit and eat. I’m standing there again empty front counter area so I look around and come to realize they are self seating tables and you scan the barcode then order. Ok cool I do that. 15 min past and still nobody comes out. Then maybe 5 min later someone comes with water and my Thai tea but doesn’t greet me just says “how many” asking how many plates I needed so I answer just 1 and he hands me the plate and my drink. So odd there is no greeting no “here you go your food will be right up” nothing! Whatever though maybe it’s just him. I then wait for my food. The girl who came out to hand it to me was a little nicer but still not the greatest customer service. She hands me my food and walks away.
I eagerly jump in. Once again got all my favorites that I had been thinking of since the first time. Except this time the food didn’t taste so great. It didn’t have much flavor like the first time I had it. Though I already paid and it’s not terrible so I eat. As I’m eating I’m thinking maybe they’ll come ask me if I want desert as the desert I wanted wasn’t on the menu to order but nobody ever came. No “How’s everything tasting” no “do you need boxes” no “can we get you anything else” so weird like why even have a dine in area!??? So I find myself to the back again and ask for boxes the girls points and says “they are there you can just grab them” I am so confused like zero customer service there. I have never had such bad customer service and the fact that the food was not consistent was not a great experience.
If I ever go back to try the food once more (hopefully it’s as good as the first time) I will definitely not dine in. It was so terrible! They need better customer service there and more consistent tasting food. Definitely have someone in the front greeting you or at least to tell you how their ordering works. Do better Block 9 Thai please! You’re so close to me that I would love to go often but not if the service sucks and the food isn’t...
Read moreSo authentic and delicious Thai food ! We LOVE coming to Thai Thai. This is really our go to for Thai food in Las Vegas/ Henderson area. It’s not a huge place, but the service, the warm ambiance, the INCREDIBLE food, is everything to us.
Even tho I don’t remember the name of the person who always take our orders at the restaurant (I’m really sorry about that), I want to say thank you for always being so attentive.
We always get our food in a very reasonable time, it always tastes fresh and it’s always delicious.
This last time we went we got Massaman curry, Thom Kha and Pad Thai. I’m not sure which one would be my favorite, because I just give 5 stars to all these three dishes.
The thom kha soup was so tasty, so fresh. the mushrooms on it were delicious as always. I seriously love this soup as a start. This is a must!!
My pad Thai was so well done. I think it’s the best pad Thai I’ve ever had. I love love it. This is also a must.
I highly recommend to try the Massaman curry with fried tofu. 10/10 !
Hope many people can come and support this beautiful restaurant. You’ll see how happy you’ll be with so...
Read moreExcellent spot. I wish I thought of taking photos before we finished. Had spicy basil chicken, garlic chicken, cucumber salad, small wonton soup and 2 hot teas. Bill was $35.39. Both entrees were good size. We are very full. The garlic dish comes with a sauce, meat, served over lettuce. It was very satisfying. They dont mess around with the heat. I had 8 and the wife had level 7. Both very spicy and delicious. We will go full 10 at most places, but know better here. We came on a cold monday night. The meal really hit the spot. It was 730 when we arrived and nobody was inside. The food quality, and service level here deserves a fuller crowd. They have take out as well. So somehow, if you're reading this, you need to try this place. My wife is really the Thai fanatic. I'm more steak, american, grill, bbq kind of guy. I think I enjoyed my meal even more than she did! Very glad she chose this spot and we will...
