TOGO'S Sandwiches — Restaurant in Henderson

We were SO excited to see a sign that Togo's was in Henderson. We moved from the Bay area 8 years ago and were thrilled to have a taste of home. We walked in, my husband went to the register, and I went to the Kiosk. I was going to call my husband over, when he said to the ( I am assuming ) manager at the register, that we were so excited for Togos, it had been 8 years. The Manager stopped him there and went on to say " You and everyone else in the state.". Clearly annoyed. We hadn't even ordered yet. When we walked in, there were 10 plus other customers who had ordered and were waiting for their food. We expected a wait, and did not mind in the slightest, we were pretty much giddy that we were getting Togos. The manager went on to say there were a lot of people in front of us and it was at least a 20 minute wait, blah blah blah. He was clearly VERY grouchy. I don't know if he was angry the store was busy, or that people from California were happy and making the store busy. I don't know, but he was a rude bummer. We hadn't even ordered yet, and all he did was rattle off grouchiness. Thankfully, the rest of the staff was amazing, the other customers were fun, and we got into a couple "Togos" conversations with other customers. We waited about half an hour, but didn't mind at all. It's a 9 hour drive back home to get Togos. Half hour wait was a breeze!! The food was just as we remembered, and we can not wait to go back. After Covid we keep hearing how the economy, and food places especially are struggling, so for the manger to be so angry that they are crazy busy since opening seems weird, and like a problem a lot of people would love to have. We will continue to go back, and just try to avoid him. We are so happy to have a Togos in town. ( But we do miss the BBQ...

as some of the other reviewers have stated, we are also cali transplants who were happy to see this togos open, but oh boy! they need to close back down and do some SERIOUS training, like yesterday! the service was incredibly slow, the workers had no idea how to wrap the sandwiches, build them or how to work efficiently. we waited in line for over 20 mins only to have our order be wrong, with the wrong sandwiches placed in our bag, took it back inside, only to have the worker take it back and place it in someone else's bag. what?! we quickly course corrected them and suggested that they take that sandwich and toss it as it just came in from being outside and unwrapped by us. we also witnessed one worker coming in to start his shift from the front door, walked behind the counter and proceeded to build sandwiches, with no gloves and no hand washing!!!! say what now?! uh, that did not fly with us in line and we quickly jumped on that and told the manager, who was right there by the way, how wrong that is and to make his worker stop immediately and wash his hands and use gloves. incredibly poor management! everyone under that roof needs to be trained properly as this was the most unprofessional experience i've been a witness to in a food establishment. get it together togos! we want you to succeed but...

We were assured the faultless service but it wasn’t such. We had ordered stood as no tables were open Then one of your employees moves them near the trash. We asked the staff as we told him we were going to sit there he says you cant hold tables so i moved it so other guests could sit there and dine in with us. Well we also wanted to dine here for a special occasion. We hate confirmation so we said ok thanks .we eat at home, as a small get away. We thought be fun and for our kids to enjoy. there were not enough chairs for us to sit on. The service was very slow. As our order was lacking ingredients our soups were half way field, some were so overcooked you cou;ld taste it nasty. The sandwiches and salad was so slim you didn't get it seemed they were hurrying, not paying attention to what they were doing. we wanted.

Furthermore, your staff was impolite and not helpful.

What is more, the main course wasn’t not tasty. The soup was so overcooked that you could taste it. and dry and wasn’t worth the money paid. I would recommend new staff because the food...
