I had high hopes due to the reviews. We went out of our way to eat here. I called and placed an order to go. I got off the phone at 7:15pm and was told it would be 20-25 minutes.

I pulled into the parking lot at 7:32pm and then went inside and waited about 5 minutes to be seen. My order was not ready yet.

I asked if I could pay in advance, she's like no I don't know what it is. Okay.

My husband starts checking in on the order a few minutes later. We wait. And wait. Apparently a few things weren't ready yet. I said could we at least have the things that are ready as my kids were getting hungry.

At 7:57pm I finally receive 2/3 of my order. We had intended to sit there and eat it fast as our original plan if there was enough table space. The lady comes over and informs me they close at 8. I stand and gather my kids and inform her it would have been nice if the order had been ready when I was told it would be. She's like you weren't here that long to order. I was surprised she combatted back. I said unfortunately I have been here for over 20 minutes waiting on my phone in order. I started walking towards the door, she told me I didn't have to leave yet. I said she made it clear that it was time for us to go. She told my husband who was by the kitchen in the other half that it was getting late after all to be eating inside. Mind you I had checked and looked and saw that two tables were still eating their food so I figured it'd be fine to chow down. I grew up in a restaurant I know how this is.

Overall I was shocked at the customer service. Even when I was first in line it was not the greatest. I was shocked it took 45 minutes after being told 20-25 minutes to make one jumbo stuffed burger, 2 grilled cheese, one small order of chicken tenders, fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings.

The burger was not that amazing. It was not jumbo, the bacon was minimal and there was no flavor goodness. I truly expected better. The sweet potato fries were good. The grilled cheese was nicely made...

I have mixed feelings about this place. First of all, the burgers taste pretty good, and they are definitely jumbo. And the fries were also very good and cooked perfectly.

Unfortunately, my praise stops there. On my second visit here, I got an undercooked jumbo stuffed burger. I ordered it medium-well, because I figured they might undercook them due to the shear size of the burger patty. However, it was still undercooked, which is not great when you're dealing with ground meat, since there is a much higher likelihood of pathogenic bacteria being present. Because of this, I cannot give them more than 2 stars just due to neglect of food safety. You should order your burger well-done from here (most likely it'll be cooked to medium if you do this).

My other main issue with this place is the atmosphere. They are unapologetically a Christian business, which is fine, but about 80% of the décor is bible verses and they only play Christian music over the sound system, and I find it very unsettling. I don't like that vibe. Just know what you're getting yourself into when you order dine-in.

Other than that, the service is OK. The food takes a little bit longer than a fast food restaurant, but that's fine. In fact, I wished it took a little bit longer so they ensured the meat was cooked all the way. My biggest issue with the service is that the prices are not on the menu. I mean, there are prices on the menu, but they're whited out, so you have to ask to know how much every item is, and that's just super annoying for us and the employees.

Overall, I likely will not be eating here again, at least not dine-in. I might get take out, but I will make sure the burger is well-done...

Not sure what happened here. I saw decent reviews for this place online, so I decided to get a lunch here (I forgot my lunch from home, so I decided to get a lunch out). I kept the order to two items, a sandwich and some fries. I then took my seat and waited for the order. While I waited I decided to sit and listen to an audiobook to pass the time.

After about 35 minutes of waiting, I had not received the order I placed, and people who had ordered after me had received their orders, ate and were leaving (Some where they had multiple orders not only for dine in, but to go as well).

The place was not overly busy so I cannot really say a rush in service was to blame. The entirety of my stay in the restaurant there was ample unoccupied seating and there was not a long or even moderately length waiting line.

After the people who had ordered after me been served, the front counter, and servers stopped coming out to the dining area. As the groups of people had eaten they were walking out, I figured it was time to leave as well. I left a note requesting a refund and the ticket that was given to me on their counter.

I can understand when a place gets a Rush and there is higher demand than people serving, and I can work with that. But when there was not a mass service rush and ample servers to. Was hoping to see and get a local business to support. The...

Location Off Walton Ferry near the main road. In one of the shopping centers connected with other stores. Service: the service was very nice they were very friendly and prompt. Food: the selection of food was very plentiful and was very delicious. The portion sizes were great. I did think the wings were very good but I would not say they were the best ones ever. I felt that these wings were pre breaded either that or previously frozen rather than fresh and then fried. You can tell they already had a taste to them even if they were naked. Improvements: Maybe I just missed it but with this being a HomeTown local restaurant I think it would have been good to have some kind of chalkboard sign stating some of their specials maybe for that day or maybe pointing out something that's really good just written just to give it that Hometown feel. also instead of having the customers look at a trifold menu I would probably have some kind of unfolded printed out version possibly attached to the ordering counter so they can order from it rather than looking at the tri folds that could be to their to go customers. Overall: overall a very good place somewhere you definitely can take your kids because they do have quite a few options for them I would definitely give it another.

Ate here today. Still just as good as ever. Awesome friendly staff. Delicious burgers. And the seeet potato fries we got today were thin and crispy. So delicious!! —— We've eaten here several times, tonight being the latest. The lady that runs the place and takes the orders is the only staff I've seen. She's super nice! The burger is delicious. The buns are amazing. The burger is really juicy and flavorful and they don't skimp on toppings. If you order fries make sure to specify the hand cut ones. So yummy. Be prepared to wait as they cook everything fresh when you order it but it's worth it. My wife and I each had a 1/2 lb. jumbo stuffed burger (she had the pineapple teriyaki while I had the mushroom and swiss), 1 order of hand cut fries, and 2 fountain drinks. Total was $30. It's definitely on the more expensive side of burgers in the area, but obviously we keep going back because it's so good.
