Won Thai Cuisine — Restaurant in Hercules

We are in town for a business meeting and hangout out for few days. We had heard a lot about this place. A good friend of ours took us here. The food is really good here. I ordered ginger fish, Thai ice tea, and fried banana ice cream. The ice tea was exceptional. What makes this place standout is that the food here is not too sweet like many Thai restaurants. The chefs here has combined experience of 30 years on cooking Thai food. The staff here are very nice and friendly. This is definitely a place on the list for revisit to try...

Food was EXTREMELY UNFLAVORFUL! Ordered the Tom Kha soup which was very watery, couldn't taste the coconut milk or lemon grass.... ordered the garlic green beans NO FLAVOR at all!! The staff was super unattentive because they were busy talking to themselves... we had to constantly go get them and ask for stuff, water refills, seasonings & napkins. The place was super empty on a Wednesday around 7pm. I LOVE Thai food and this place was just HORRIBLE all...

Nice, located of Willow shopping center. Several eateries nearby including a drive in Starbucks. I looked around and decided to go for the Won Thai restaurant, ordered the lunch special, fried catfish with rice, on the plate I got a colorful plate with a scoop of steam rice next to pan fried filet of catfish with plenty of green beans, fresh tomato pieces, sautéed on a lite curry sauce and sliced purple and green...
