This review has been long coming. After many chances given to redeem themself, here we are with a one star. Many moons ago we happily dished out 5stars to a place that was always on point with service & food. Now, going back the past 2years, more specifically this year, in Feb we arrive with a large party to be met with who we assume is the new manager now? Very unfriendly & rude woman by the way. But someone arrives early & makes them aware that a large party is coming … they refuse to place tables together in anticipation. Once the party of 18 is there, rude woman really kicks her attitude into gear because the entrance is now blocked because there is no seating for this party that she was told 30mins prior was on their way. Fast forward, the food was nothing special, steaks were not cooked correctly but we all made the best of the night. - A few of us attempted dinner or lunch here or there a few more times, again, being met with unimpressionable food but not terrible. Now present day July … I call even though I know they do not take reservations, I call to give a heads up that I am coming with a party of 12 punctual people, in 2 cars, meaning we will all arrive at 6pm no question. Rudeness, the name we have all given this blonde lady, was quick to cut me short repeating that they do not take reservations. I gave up trying to finish my sentence. We arrive & I tell the host party of 12 to which I am looked at as those I am an idiot and asked if we made a reservation??!! “YOU GUYS DON’T TAKE RESERVATIONS” I proclaim loud enough to get the attention of Rudeness who I see staring us down, I assume for blocking her entrance. After standing for 15mins, we are seated. We order. Once apps and salads are delivered, one salad is handed, a Caesar Salad, then the waiter looks at a guest who ordered a chicken Caesar Salad as a main and states they are out of Caesar dressing. We all just laughed. HA! The audacity. The sausage & cheese plate was the most pathetic thing you ever did see. Fries were delivered cold. Steaks had no seasoning. A burger was raw on one side and cooked on the other. They ran out of Jack & coke (this was a Monday at 6pm). - Needless to say, we all agreed that this was absolutely the last straw. Get...
Read moreManagement is HORRIBLE!!! My family and I eat AC's at least once a week. Mostly order through GoWaiter.. On most Friday's my husband and I will go there for a date night. Well tonight my husband and I went to dinner and the food was good, as usual except I ordered shrimp scampi instead of grilled shrimp(my normal order). I ate everything, except the shrimp I didn't like the taste, instead I ate my husbands grilled shrimp.. We saw the manger walk by our table several times speaking to everybody but us... I just ignored it, when we were almost done eating she stopped by and said "well did you order enough food?" I said yes too much! She walked away. When our sever came with the check, she asked why I didn't eat the shrimp, I said because I didn't like them! She said let me ask a manger can o take these off.. She comes back and say the manager said you ordered too much food and you just want to take them off because you're full!! I told the waitress that me being full didn't have anything to do with me not liking what I ordered, furthermore I didn't ask anyone to take the food off, the serve suggested this action... The waitress came back and said the manager would give us a free dessert instead I said I HATE the dessert here, and No Thank You! Well anyway we just left and I won't be back... This may seem small, but if I frequent a place where I spend at least $160 or better every time I go, you would think they would have a little more courtesy?!!! I would hate to think its because we were the only black people I have ever seen at...
Read moreFirst time eating here. We enjoyed it. The hostess sat us quickly, with it being a Tuesday evening, it really wasn't busy at all. Our waitress was kind and informative. Our food was delicious. I ordered the Blackened Catfish from the special March menu. It was on a bed of rustic ratatouille and Cajun remoulade sauce. It was top tier delicious. I'd recommend it and have it again. My husband ordered the Porterhouse Porkchop, and it could have used a little more seasoning, in my opinion, but overall, the sear was great, and the touch of pears was nice, and the crab cakes were very good and packed with tons of flavor. The spinach cream sauce was delicious, and I could taste the spinach very well. I also ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms, and they were extremely flavorful, and I was very satisfied with them. I enjoyed the small spring salad with goat cheese, mandarin oranges, and cranberries. We ordered the chicken strip appetizer, a side of fries, and a side of mac and cheese. I would definitely do better on the mac and cheese being served, skip the box mac and go homemade instead. I can not believe Kraft was served to us, especially for $9.50. Which should've been a kids' meal, if I'm not mistaken. I'll pay attention next time when we order a kids' meal to make sure we get everything that comes with the kids' meal instead of being charged separately for each item. Other than that, we were pleased with our experience, and we thoroughly enjoyed our main meals. We will definitely be back to try the other items. I look forward to...
