Junior's Eatin' House — Restaurant in Hernando

This was our first time here since they changed ownership. They give generous portions and the price was reasonable. I had chicken and dressing with gravy, a roll and cream corn with tea. They have cranberry sauce but I had to ask for it. The room temperature stuffing was good, but a bit too salty. The roll and tea were good. The cream corn was delicious. My husband had meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy and fried apples with a roll and tea. He said it was good. Everything was lukewarm except for his apples, which were hot. He said everything was pretty good. For the price of $29 for both meals, I would give a grade of B. We will most likely come back and try...

This place was sooooo good! Saw a Facebook post about it & had to check it out. Being from Memphis, I have not found a good Soulfood/Country cooking spot in Desoto County until today.

I have catfish, purple hull peas & mash potatoes. The cat fish was crispy, well seasoned & over all delicious. The sides were equally as good.
